Dear Players,

Please find attached details of membership of the Association for the forthcoming season which commences 1st November 2006. Please remember that the BPPPA calendar runs from 1st November to 31st October each year.

The details will soon appear on our web site at www.bpppa.org and also on www.pro9.co.uk

We are currently working extremely hard to confirm the calendar for 2007 (most of which has been confirmed) and this will be available on-line shortly and in hard copy format at our first event of the season which will be held at Nottingham on 18-19 November where I will be making several special announcements, one of which about an exciting tournament next season.

The first BWPPA wheelchair tournament of the new season will be on 10-11 December at Riley's Stretford, Manchester.

The first Youth tournament ( 10yrs to under 18 ) will be on 25 November at Riley's Stretford, Manchester.

The second Main Tour Ranking event will be at Riley's Stretford on 16-17 December. This event will also include the traditional Player of the Year awards. Categories this year will include:

1. Player of the Year (Men's division)
2. Player of the Year (Ladies division)
3. Player of the Year (Wheelchair division)
4. Player of the Year (Youth division)
5. Rookie of the Year (Men)
6. Rookie of the Year (Ladies)
7. Presidents Award for Dedication to the Sport

For your enjoyment the awards will be presented by a top sporting personality and will commence prior to the main tournament.

A European Championship qualifying event will be held on Friday 15th December (the day before the 2nd Ranking event of the season) so this should be an exciting weekend of pool.

Should you have any problem opening the attachments Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free of charge at www.adobe.com or alternatively write me a mail and it will be my pleasure to assist in sending it to you in another format. However, as we publish all our tournament fliers in .pdf format I recommend trying the free download.
