NEW VENUE, NEW WINNERS
The last weekend Mezz Cues Baltic Pool League tour entered Belarus. The venue was "Start" pool hall in the beautiful city of Minsk. Men division was won by local superstar Dmitriy Chuprov and women division by Russian Natalya Sierosthan.

CLOSE CALL FOR MEN FINALS
Last four in mens division was all about Russia and Belarus. To illustrate the strong field of players such names as Konstantin Stepanov (former European Champion) and Ruslan Chinakhov (former Youth World Champion) did not make it even to last eight. The semifinals were very tense with both ending with hill-hill rack. In one semi-final were two Belarus players, Chuprov and Vladislav Tsyrykov, and it was Chuprov that clinched the 7-6 victory. In second semi-final it was all about Russian affair when Andrew Sieroshtan and Sergey Lutsker battled it out for a place in the final. After a thrilling match Sieroshtan made it with a 7-6 victory and proceeded to the final. The final was not a bit less entertaining than both of the semi-finals. In the end Chuprov crossed the finish line first by a score 7-5.
SIEROSHTAN ON TOP IN WOMEN AND OLDBOYS FIELD
As men finals were all about Belarus and Russia then women finals were represented by Ukraine as well. Local star Margarita Fefilova beat Ukrainian Kateryna Polovinchuk 6:4 and proceeded to the final. Her opponent Sieroshtan successfully pocketed the last nine ball to beat Daria Siranchuk by the same score. In the final Sieroshtan showed good quality and got the title by a score 6:3.
BELARUS WAS A SUCCESS FOR MEZZ CUES BALTIC POOL LEAGUE
The first event in Belarus was a great success in the eyes of the organisers. The best proof of it is the total number of 86 participants from Belarus, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Russia and Ukraine. Additionally the organisers thank all the participants, volunteers, fans and all other people and companies that were part of this event.
