Good odds but he can't win it IMO. Having said that we all thought Dott couldn't either so good luck to ya!

I've got my money on mr williams as well, could only get 25/1 though.
The way ronnie played yesterday he looks unplayable but if he does beat himself in the later rounds williams is one of the players that could capitalise. Hendry looks half tempting at 10/1.

Just think its quite open this year, depending on Ronnie's mental attitude of course, cos if he in right frame of mind he could be unstoppable. I also had an each way on Stevens (Matthew not Kirk!) at 22-1 cos he always plays well at Crucible. Am glad Dott lost, now I just pray Ebdon goes out too!

I like Ebdon a lot. Tries his heart out, gives everything, wants it so badly, shows emotion, humble in defeat. Everything good in a player and a great example if you ask me.

Boring to watch though Depends what you find boring I suppose. Whilst in my youth I used to love Alex and Jimmy and hated with a passion everyone else who dared to beat them I'm now more fascinated to watch players who show determination, mental strength and fighting qualities because there's so much you can learn from them.

Ebdon has been my favourite ever since he took on a deadweight black off its spot into the yellow pocket against Stephen Lee. It was a crucial point of the match...as the ball was slowly heading towards its inevitable destiny Ebdon was punching the air, screaming, the tears rolling down his face...the ball did of course eventually drop into the pocket at which point Ebdon started dancing around the table using his cue as an air guitar. That is why he is the best. [ This message was edited by: thecure_figurehead on 2007-04-23 16:24 ]
