As you all probably know, the World Snooker Championship starts Saturday. So who do you think will win it? I think it is wide open this year and just hope it's a more exciting final than last year's cure for insomnia. I had an each way bet on John Higgins at 14/1 and would appreciate any other tips for the title!

I have to admit I've not really followed the snooker scene in the last few years as I've found it about as exciting as Formula 1.
Why John Higgins? Who are the players hitting form?

Just though he was over priced as only 8s with most bookies. Ronnie will have to have a good chance and unfortunately both of last years finalists, Dott and Ebdon also playing well. Sadly I have to agree with you about the current snooker scene. Hardly enthralling stuff any more. Bring back Alex! Ha Ha

Ebdon to win the thing. Mentally the strongest. Hope Dott goes out early, he looks like Sinead O'Connor and is just as boring.

I think living so close Shir wanted to be able to at least say she's been to the Crucible. I have my pub lunch most days at the pub next door and I've been many times so I guess the novelty has worn off a little but for anyone who's not been I'd definately recommend it.
