They've had a go at updating their website at http://www.caromtv.com - but it's even more hard work than it was before... But I still like the fact that you can watch LIVE webcam in a three-cushion billiard club!

Blimey, it just struck me that you could be unaware that there is this absolutely fabulous game called "3 Cushion Billiards" where each player attempts to string together as many scoring shots as possible... A scoring shot is one in which the cue-ball hits three cushions, either before striking both object balls, or hits three cushions between each of the two object balls. It's played on a (heated) 9-foot table with speed cloth and no pockets... It's AWESOME!!! Previously we have established that there isn't a single 3C table in the whole of Great Britain, although they are very popular in France where they call it "French Billiards". ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

WOW! WOW! WOW!!! What a smegging shot! And glossopscratcher, if you look around these forums, you'll find a bunch of links to different 3 Cushion Billiards trickshot exhibitions - called Artistic Billiards - which baffle me completely and make you realise what really can be done with a cueball. Happy hunting! Best wishes thecardman www.scottish9ball.com The Cardman's Blog The Cardman's MySpace page

There's a wee pub just across the road and down a bit from Club 8 in Amsterdam where they charge 1 Euro per 20 mins for a game.
They've only got 1 table but it's a good one.
After about an hour or so (ask Trish, she seemed to be checking her watch all the time!) I think I made a break of 3!
Can any pro9 member beat that?
If so, I think we might have a challenge on our hands.
I've got a crisp 5 Euro note up for grabs if you think you're up to the challenge...
Time wasters need not apply.

We have four such tables in my local club and Dani Sanchez can often be seen here as it his local club too, Blomdahl also pops in when he is in town as does Cauldron as they both play in a team with Dani. Over the last few months I have noticed that more and more of the pool players are trying their hand at Carom. Alcaide is quite an accomplished player and often enters the local tournaments as does Dani Gaspar.
