Chris took his course along with myself. The course was run by BPPPA president Ted Bristow. He is a qualified referee instructor.
Give him a call or drop him an email.

Yes, contact Ted and see if there's another one planned. Or, coincidentally, the EPBF are doing a three day course in April in Italy, which could be an enjoyable time, although it does say, "each participant must have: referee experience”. http://www.epbf.com/training/rulesinst/refcourse07_info.htm

a trip to Italy sounds like it could be an enjoyable way of doing it, would the course be in italian or is that a daft question?
it might be a more costly way of doing it, although i am sure a few nights away in italy would go down well with the other half lol
