I couldn't find a thread for the tournament itself so thought I would start an official one as I have a question Will the tables be available to play on Friday morning much like on the Euro Tour? Not sure what the time scale is in terms of setting the tables up so this might not be an option. Roll on Buxton! ----------------- Chris @ Pro9[ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-03-15 08:05 ]

Hi Chris,
I'm afraid not. We're all off down tomorrow afternoon to start the set up. Our plan gives us less than 24 hours for set up which as you can imagine is a mammoth task, and one we've not had experience of before.
We're hoping to allow players some practice time but we really can't say at what time we'll be finished and able to do that.
Once we know the tasks at hand and get slicker at this we'll be able to be more precise. So we hope to allow some practice time but can't make hard and fast promises.
See you on Friday.
Cheers,
Jonathan.

P.S. i'll take this opportunity to say how grateful i am to all of the people who are coming along to help us put this together, and have put up with me cajoling them along to get there early the day before to do so.
I also want to say a huge thankyou on here to all of the players who are supporting the tour this year. We've been flat out to make this the best year for GB9 so far, and i and the rest of the committee hope that everyone has a great weekend in Buxton. We've truly done our best to make sure that happens.

QUOTE !!! where is the draw From our website: Draw / Start Times: As all players must attend the venue on Friday for the players meeting we are not posting start times in advance. The actual draw will be displayed on the notice board in the venue 1 hour before the start of play on the Friday evening and on our live scoring site shortly after play has begun.
