Hi Folks, i would like to buy a new shaft for my Fury RP-2 and had my eye on a Z2, now in the pro 9 shop it has options for a radial joint which i need but on the Predator website it says that the Z2 only comes with the Uni-loc joint??? i really don't want a 314 shaft, Can anyone clear up this confusion please Also which should i go for a moori or the sniper? Thanks in advance Greg p.s. if i order from the pro 9 shop, what is the estimated delivery time? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2007-06-06 23:23 ]

Just a bit of extra info ref Pred shafts. In the past there was some public concern (over quality) when Pred moved their manufacturing from the US. I'm noting the 2nd Gen shafts made in China(?) are of equal or better quality than those that were made in the states. The 2nd Gen's are smoother, more consistent in size, and less runout (straighter) than the 1st Gen.
The final sanding on many of the 1st Gen was very poor, to the point that each segment of the shaft could be felt when rotating the shaft on a lathe. Machinery? Technique? Who knows for sure.
As much as I dislike seeing jobs leave the US, the change that Pred made is working out in favor of the buyer. Kudos to Pro9 for making these available to the members.
