Thanks for the kind words Daz, you'll be missed by all the players and staff on GB9 and we'll be watching out for your results in the US. I can safely say there would be no GB9 if it wasn't for you because this improvement and revolution in UK Pool would never have happened had you not switched codes along with Boyzi as a result of the IPT. Regarding the weekend I just want to congratulate all of the winners. There were also some stand out performances worth a mention i.e. Gary Bullocke ploughing his way through the field in style including a 39 minute match against Mark Morris. In fact Gary's was the fastest match of the round on 3 separate occassions during the weekend! Also many congratulations to my friend and practise partner, Mark Singleton on his stunning victory over Challenge Division number one Shane Appleton. Well done to tubsy for finally winning one of these and not constantly moaning throughout the latter stages for a change lol. And to Morray Dolan on a brilliant win in the Challenge Cup on what was a very long a gruelling day for him. Some stats from the weekend: Fastest match: 34 Mins (Boyes v Brisley) Average match time: 01:23 Total matches: 228 Total racks: 3098 Break and runs: 240 B&R% Main: 8.3% B&R% Chall: 5.7% B&R% Pro: 14.5% B&R% overall: 7.7% Quote of the weekend... Well it's hilarious but unfortunately I can't share it on here. Finally I just want to thank everyone that's played a part in making the tour a success in our first season in hotels. There are far to many people to mention but you know who you are. We learned a lot in 2010 and will continue the process of improvement in 2011. As Daz says the UK players can hold their heads up high and be very proud of what they have achieved collectively in creatijng and maintaining their own tour and building it in to what is the best national tour in the world. Yeh, cheers for mention daz. Really glad I joined the GB9 this year as was undicided initially, cant help but feel like i joined just at the right time. Results aside i've had a great laugh at the events this year as well. Definitely the friendliest cuesport going, nothing like snooker or uk8ball events. Can't recomend it strongly enough, looking forward to next seaon

Morray is a cool cat and a class player and although he doesn't know me on here he knows me in person and knows I don't mean any harm by posting that! I was more just amazed that it was on YouTube when I typed in his name hoping to see more of him in English 8-Ball as I figured he would have a greater online presence than what he does have!
Well done to all players and staff involved in GB9 as I've really enjoyed myself this year. The standard is very impressive and I can see the tour getting even stronger next season as we all want to improve and this is only good for the future of UK Pool. "UK Marbles" is stuck in the dark age and will be dead in the water soon and I think that the players from "UK Marbles" are begining to realise that and move cuesport!
Anyway, I've rambled on long enough and so I hope to see the friends I've made on tour in March and hopefully I'll get around to chatting to those I never got the chance to as everybody seems great and game for a laugh on this tour.
