I know it sounds like stating the obvious but please make sure you check the weather forecasts before setting off and leave as early as you possibly can. Take it easy and drive safely. If you think you will be late text or call me on 07961 444430.
If you arrive early and are willing to play earlier than scheduled please come and let us know as this might help the scheduled play on Friday night if we have problems with the weather.
Having lived in Blackpool for 26 years I know it's pretty rare to get any snow there but I appreciate some of you travelling from Scotland or accross country from the north east may encounter some weather issues.
As I said: - Leave early - Drive safely - Report progress if late
Enjoy everyone.

I think the first live streamed match is either 10.15 or 11.45

No snow here. gorgeous sunny day but obviously very cold.
Regrettably CSTV's computer has died so there is no live stream at the moment. Several attempts at the kiss of life have failed. Shame cos Melling v Shaw on now.

You'll have to settle for the live scoring. We've been doing updates every rack in the latter stages of the tournaments.

Congratulations to Chris, Morray and Daryl - and indeed to everyone who had a good year on tour with GB9 this year. We even had some snow in Portsmouth - so I hope everyone got back from Blackpool alright? How was it in Blackpool? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-11-29 10:35 ]

I have never been to Blackpool, ever - and I'd love to go! Did you have a good time, or was it all work, work, work?

Must give a huge apology for the lack of live video from this event.
It seems the machine we use for the live streaming didn't like the weather. Myself, Arfan Dad, Lee Rigby, Dan Lim and a couple of others did try to rescue it from its demise without any luck at all.
We even tried kicking it, which normally springs it in to life.
And, before anyone asks, yes we did switch it off and then on again!
Much apologies, it has now gone in for repair!

On 2010-11-30 10:26 , BigDave Wrote:Interesting stuff BDK, especially the interview form Daryl.. he says 'I have won 3 Pro events from the 4 that I have played in this GB9 season, so I am pleased with that...' That's very impressive stuff. It's not true but would be impressive if it were lol Seriously though it has been a very good season for the Dazzler. He won 2 pro cups out of 4 entered and took the opening main event too. I just thought we should straighten those facts out. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2010-11-30 14:18 ]

Agree with all of the above plus add arfan dad to list he's also a sport. Lee rigby should be on that list too but just depends on what time of month it is lol.
