Funny you should mention photos, as I've just finished loading the last of several fantastic photos by Andy Warden... Enjoy! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

Great event and venue - why not have them all at Daventry...suppose you could call it a series instead of a tour!?
Regarding the shot clock, I think it's good for the game...it's just not good having the referee talking to the players consistently throughout the match and also not good being able to hear everything being said through the ear pieces between the officials when down on the shot.

great venue, only problem is its 6 miles from the train station at long buckby (a £17 taxi fare) and 10 miles from Rugby station. Thanks to John Mathers for the lift from the station to the hotel, saved me £17, it was too cheeky to ask for a lift back but when i saw how much the fare was, i wished i had !! Venue is best there is but for all around weekend (inc places to go and eat and drink at reasonable prices, blackpool is the best all round venue, as not everyone can afford to eat and drink the whole w/end at the venue. (and i know that is one of the points of staying there, to support the venue, re costs and revenue etc, before some smartie points that out) I really enjoyed my last event for a while, best of luck for the rest of the year. tony southern [ This message was edited by: tigger147 on 2010-07-20 20:26 ]

And Mr Petty, hope you enjoyed my masterclass in how to break and leave everything on a plate for your opponent !! 4 times on the bounce they all spread and left everything on and 3 balls hanging !! What an all around player Steve is, will win on the tour soon, and watch out for adam shaw on the pro tour next year, he's is going to be the new UK ICE MAN, never seen a player who was so cool and calm, even when losing 9-8 to drago from 8-4 up, i don't think his pulse quickened !! For the statistitions:
Total playing time. (Allows 10 mins non playing time per match) = 356 hrs 16 mins (it was not all Dominic & Jonathan).
Total matches = 248
Total racks played = 3438
Average match duration = 1hr 25 mins. Wooohooo - well done everyone!
Fastest match = 31 mins. You know who! And that was from us calling it on the mike at the start and getting the scoresheet off them at the end so you can take 10 mins off that! The Tornado's average match time was 54 mins this weekend over 7 matches played.
Longest match = 248 mins. Enough said about that!
Average rack time = 5 mins.
Quickest round: Main event Semi - average 1hr 10 mins Longest round: Main event round 1 - average 1hr 44 mins (ignoring challenge final, which was 1hr 59 mins).
End of day finish times: Friday - 00:52 Saturday - 23:43 Sunday - 21:58
This is by far the best we've ever done in terms of keeping to the match schedule. Well done everyone.

Thank you for the congratulatory messages. Commiserations to Shane, the final literally could have gone either way. You've been mega consistant this season and you're bound to win an event.
Thanks to the GB9 team for a very well run weekend and as with the previous 2 events the playing conditions were great.
Those stats are interesting Lee, 31mins is insane lol

Steve Petty is awesome and has a lot of natural talent. I watched a bit of his match with Drago and the shotmaking was frightening and I found myself laughing at how silly it was at times!
Adam Shaw will do very well in 9-Ball Pool I feel. I knew I was going to have it tough as soon as I seen the draw but he is only going to get better and better and is still new to the game!

He was so good that if I broke off and left an easy pot on I just used to concede and set em straight back up again
