In the pain I have been in for the past three weeks every time I go from standing position to shooting position the spine feels like its going to snap so obviously I can't play close to what I want to. If I was in a shooting position at all times (IE - Wheelchair) I could play better. Now strictly speaking I don't need a wheelchair to play pool but in my current state I'm greatly disadvantaged without one. Muse I am the Chairperson of the BWPPA and I think if you are seriously interested it would be better to give me a ring on 07968 966042 and we can talk about this. I hope this is not a wind up Please take the time to get the facts from the horses mouth than trawling the internet, as disabilities are varied and far reaching and the rules need to be applied with this in mind. I don't think the forum is a place to discuss what is or is not a disability. looking forward to your call. Matt ----------------- www.themole.me

We'll have a full report with results, links, and hopefully some cracking photos by Andy Warden later in the week.

QUOTE !!! any scores from event 2 We had a great weekend full house of 16 players and Danny Luton took the main event tropy having beat Roy in the semi final. Some great pool played and Shaun Madin reached his first final having beaten me in the Semi final and Karl Read in the quarter final - Keep it going Shaun. On a personal note my 3rd place was enough to put me back up to 2nd ranked player behind Roy. All in all a great 2 days and thanks to all the staff and manager at Rileys Darlington for going the extra mile. ----------------- www.themole.me[ This message was edited by: The_Mole on 2010-06-06 21:04 ]

In the main event Roy Kimberley beat me 7 - 0 in 2nd round.
Challenge event, Matt Duffy 5 - 1 Frankie Gillen. (twice in the row I lost in the final now). I did had a chance twice in each frames to win it as one frame I hit the ball with long range to the corner pocket rattled the pocket & stopped on the pocket, if that went in, I would have two easy balls left to win that frame. Another frame I had cue ball on the cushion to cut the 9-ball in the middle pocket & hit the jaw. Well played & good game Matt.

Well done to Danny and Shawn for reaching his first Main Event final in such a short space of time, keep it up mate.
Thanks to the staff at Darlington, the committee, tournament director and Matt Lester for the doing the report all your efforts really make the difference.
On a personal note, based on my last 4 BWPPA events I have to be a little disappointed with a semi final finish, however in general my game felt good and im feeling confident for the up and coming GB9 event as well as the next BWPPA event in Liverpool.
