I wouldn't have a problem with the speed of the IPT updates if they didn't always say they were going to have live updates.

Isn't one of the rules of marketing to always deliver more than you promise and not to promise more than you deliver? I only mention this because KT is supposed to be a marketing expert.

I think eurosport would have had a better commentator using Andy Richardson......he is very knowledgeable at 8 and 9 ball and has worked commentating the big ball game before for matchroom sport..........ok he is a mate too but i do think he would have been good. As well as knowing the game he also knows a lot of the players.

Yeah, certainly someone like him would be a good choice.

I thought Phil Yates did a very good job with the King of the Hill and also the Euro Tour coverage...

Why on Earth did Eurosport choose this other guy to commentate?! He didn't seem to know a thing!

I thought Roxton was awesome, knew the rules thoroughly and predicted the shots well - But bring back Phil Yates as the "Anchorman" and get someone who can fill in some details/colour about the players. (Phil MUST be busy because he was SOOOO much better than this guy).

An incredible choice of 200 matches today, but we had to watch the (predictably) dullest of games between Ralph Souquet and George Breedlove - even the referee gave them a warning for slow play!

We'll all get sick of watching this pretty fast if they don't do more than just pointing the cameras at the table.

EurosSport need to add value - Interview the players before their match and play it in during a quiet moment.

Show us what's happening behind the scenes.

Get some quotes from assorted players about what they expect from the IPT tour.

Ask the players who they* think is going to win/which is the group of death/how tiring is it going to be.

200 matches and no results from the other tables? No stats? Well at least the website is back up, and it looks laid out really well, but slow to update.

Also, the players need to "play the bigger game" too in my opinion. If you go to a Trickshot/Artistic Pool tournament the players are very professional and REALLY know the score. They are ALWAYS watching the TV table. Not because they are interested especially, but because they know the director needs some cut-away shots during the racking/boring bits, the audience always needs filling, and the commentators can comment on who is in the crowd. VERY professional bunch of guys the Artistic Pool players. The IPT Pros need to do this too... Fill the seats for the cameras.

I watched down my local snooker club and the kids were very impressed seeing Ronnie playing pool, but I want more!

GIVE ME MORE!!!

Just my "tuppennies worth".

Im starting to agree with a mate of mine who keeps saying IPT would have been better using Red and yellow balls like the English 8 ball game much better for TV coverage

Brisk if you can get a look at a close up shot they have the ipt logo on the ball.....i had hoped that they would have used this logo but in the measles style ie had the logo 6 times as this would have looked prety classy. Well in my opinion anyway LOL

poolknight i can see what yoiu say for the reds and yellows but the english 8 ball game is so small worldwide and this needs to have mega international appeal if going to work.....most peole are used to the numbered balls,

Oh and on a small note how would the rules work LOL

Erm i put er that red in that pocket .....with it being nomination then the only way to go is the numbered balls

I loved the mics on the players... You could hear every gasp and sigh and their chat with their cornermen (although it was difficult to see who was the nominated cornerman in Ronnie's match) I loved hearing him say "I've never had to rack balls before in my life"!

QUALITY!!! :D

Nomination could work with Red and Yellow balls as well.
What im trying to say is i like any other pool fan want to see the IPT become the most succsessfull cuesport in the world, hopefully as the tournament progresses tv coverage will get better, but because of the balls watching 9ball is a lot more attractive for the TV viewer, and for the IPT to succeed viewers are the most important factor

LOL yes @ the Ronnie comment. Did he say something like "my head is all fuzzy" or something when facing Raj? What the the devils playground did that mean?

Ye theres like one giant measle scab on the ball. Your right, just not classy enough.

Do you rekon, if enough people get together, that something could be changed about the Eurosport coverage? I rekon they should fly you out Dave for some pre/during/post match comments!!!

I think at least for the TV table there should be a full time referee in view and racking and scoring for the players looks amateurish the players doing there own and I think an electronic scoreboards are a must all that money and cheap Cardboard scorers and do agree there should be more panning around and players thought on the whole thing, surely the next event will be better run.

I think the idea of the cardboard scoreboards is they won't fail on television.

but there should be a scoreboard on the broadcasting side i must say! really annoying waiting for the paper scoreboard to come into the view of the camera!

Good morning, I just woke up and I would like to know the results of Ronnie. I can't see previous page (some error). I'm afraid he failed and he doesn't go through.

thanks CJW, I can see these results, but the last one, the most important with Lebron is how? Who won, who goes through?
