Not the best if this is the case, there was well over 100 people at 60 per person thats at least 6k, granted not everyone paid and not all the money was for the players, but still some answers are needed.
again apprecaite the legal battles BT is having to go through, which if I guess correctly is with Rileys, then its a discgrace and Rileys need to step up and do what they promised in the first place with BT,as this is a total joke.
Somethings are out of peoples hands, but you cant forget about the players who put a lot into it which im sure there was a lot.

Tone I THINK THAT THIS ANSWERS THE QUESTION ON "WHEN WILL WE HAVE AN ANSWER ON THE LEAGUES" so i know tony will post on here as soon as he has any news on this issue, so i cant see any point keep repeating yourselves and there is no update avilable no matter how many times you ask

I THINK THAT THIS ANSWERS THE QUESTION ON "WHEN WILL WE HAVE AN ANSWER ON THE LEAGUES" so i know tony will post on here as soon as he has any news on this issue, so i cant see any point keep repeating yourselves and there is no update avilable no matter how many times you ask Fair poin and I knew that was the case. Appreciate that it is all tied up in legal and I'm sure an update may come at somepoint but the last post was over 2 months ago. So if it is still tied up in legal then that's fine however and update to say that would be nice to know. BT may have a lot on and understand that he may not be able to comment until it is resolved. The question I would also ask then is where is all the money now then? The league did not give the money to whomever this legal battle is with. From memory without trailing through all the past posts. I recall the legal battle was or is with a potential sponsor that was on board or something (maybe rilles) who didn't commit to what they agreed or something. So any update is better than nothing at all.

Worse still, how do you update something when the company i am at odds with is a sponsor of this site? I have to be fair to Dave here. I would gladly tell the story right now, but i doubt the post would last one minute before being removed.
Oliver, i did not respond to your email because of the distasteful way in which you decided to make your comments personal. You do not know me, but please be sure of two things.
1, I am a man of my word and when able will resolve the entire situation, and in the meantime will continue in my efforts to make this as quick as possible.
2, I will gladly give you the opportunity to see me in person to say whatever you wish, just be careful what you wish for.

Tone I have chosen to delete my recent comments in this thread, however my sentiments remain and I look forward to discussing this in person with you. I for one hope you are genuine in your assurances about all the money being repaid. [ This message was edited by: OJD on 2010-12-26 20:57 ]

Back to the original request - when is the next court date? I think this is what people want to know because otherwise how do we know when to stop waiting and take legal action ourselves? When so many people are owed so much money, collectively, it isn't too much to ask. We're not asking for a detailed breakdown of the legal case, or disclosure of evidence, simply when the court date is, if known, and if not known what the anticipated timelines actually are. At the present time we have a lot of people owed money, and total and utter silence. This isn't being hostile, it is just a reasonable request and I don't think it is fair to just keep telling people to wait. An individual private email, detailing the money owed, current timelines for the court case, etc would suffice, so that only those that are are directly involved are informed (i.e. it isn't publicly debated here). BT you have all our emails maybe it would be a good idea to email us all personally if you cannot reply properly on here and then everyone can make their own decision what has happened. As part of the GB9 leagues we are all entitled to a more detailed update.
I know you Tone and i'm sure your not the type of character to bring this upon everyone without good reason but from this side of the fence things really don't look very good.
i think an in detail email would go along way.

Contrakid - you just beat me to the edit of my last post. Exactly the point and I couldn't agree more. That is a very reasonable request - just SOME info and timelines, rather than a basic "sorry, legal case pending" each time. People are owed money and it's the least they deserve. I'm not being whinging and pernickety here - it's just that it's been several months now, and patience is running thin. We need to know when to draw the line and take separate legal action ourselves after all. Nobody wants this and it can be avoided with basic communication on the issue. Am I being out of order here? for anyone hoping to get any cash payout from this - I wudddn't hold ya breath !....by the time the legal process is finished there'll be nothing left in the pot for mere "Players" imo. (unfortunate but true)...if it's anything like a "business" thats goes into admin or liquidation the people at the very bottom of the ladder get the least(and "least" usually means nothing) (been there - done that - got nowt) :-|...........would love to be proved wrong on this as i know people personally who are owed, but like I say been at the wrong end of it before and lost ££££'s.......... ----------------- The Agent [ This message was edited by: Agentsoap on 2010-12-27 11:19 ]

I agree, I'll be very surprised if anyone gets their money back from this. Yet you get accused of being whinging and pernickety for being angry about that fact, and pathetic threats of violence from the organiser for raising the complaint! [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-12-27 12:12 ]

Thats a fair point Paul, but I dont think the legal fees can be paid via the players money, there was no contract in place for us to agreee to any of that. Im sure if it was a case where all the players involved could help in someway they would....as we have said all along it was a great idea and a total shocker that it hasnt worked out the way everyone hoped. I can see that BT is being a honest as possible in this forum without giving the details etc due to the forum its being discussed. Maybe as suggested an email to all the players on this would be an idea, but again I guess the detail is for the courts....I just feel as player and a player representing a club where everyone played and tried thier hardest we al deserve some insight, however this can be done. Apprecaite if there is no update to give, then this in itself is an updade. If any dates could be shared of when the court cases are pending etc then this would avoid more of this type of debate. It all seems like a horrible place for BT to be in im sure, especially if the sponsers of this site are involved also....just wish we could help in someway. Thanks P

Tony has allegedly been loaned the money for the court case from another pool player. So if he loses (and so has to pay costs), I should expect he'll be at the front of the queue for repayments, and as already noted the account is already overdrawn and Tony is in a bad financial state. Ergo - no repayments are likely.
I appreciate the legal situation, but we're involved in this as well and deserve more of an update than "you'll have to wait", otherwise when exactly should we give up and pursue legal action ourselves?
For example, do any of us actually have any evidence that there IS a legal case being pursued?

We would happily do so if, in the absence of reimbursement, we got a little feedback. Do you think Tony is the only person who has financial problems? How about you reimburse us then, and then take it up with Tony yourself in the new year? Thought not. [ This message was edited by: OJD on 2010-12-27 13:10 ]

This thread was created by the admin team to support GB9 discussions and this is whats is left to discuss. Personally I dont see what the issue is, BT is an adult and can answer in his own time as he has done in the past with good information (when he has it).
