Kozoom is covering the World 9-Ball ChampionshipsThe Qatari Billiards & Snooker Federation "QBSF" have signed up Kozoom Productions to produce the live stream at this years 9-ball world championships in Qatar. Kozoom Productiions, probably the leading producer of billiards via the internet, are currently building the web page that will show all 14 tables live throughout the entire event. Kozoom Productions are also supplying the live scoring system to keep every pool fan on their toes with instant scoring on all matches, starting with the qualifiers on the 16th of June. With the finals scheduled for the 27th of June and only one day break between stage 1 & 2, means a complete 11 days of fantastic action coming your way. All this information will be available on the official website of the QBSF in the next few days. The web site is www.qbsf.qa This is especially good news if you were one of the Pro9'ers who took advantage of the Pro9 Special Offer price on a limited number of annual Kozoom Premium Passes.
Congratulations you canny Pro9'ers!!!EDIT: My apologies, I was wrong about this last bit... The live stream is TOTALLY FREE!----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2014-06-15 08:48 ]

This slurps, now a tournament that was free to view over the net in previous years is now PPV in order to view.
It's bad enough we have to watch on the net because no UK station wants to cover but now we have to pay to watch it, bit of a kick in the teeth for pool fans if you ask me.

I think it's great news, I'd rather be able to watch ALL 14 tables from start to finish... Didn't we miss crucial matches last time because Alkass TV were showing football at the weekend instead?
It'll be a vast improvement if you ask me.

Frustrates me endlessly that Kozoom cannot be watched from Apple devices; surely they're missing a whole market these days? Why not just develop an app? Can't be all that difficult.

re PPV: No mention of PPV in that article. I was told 11 days ago, by Kozoom, that streaming would be for free. On http://www.qbsf.qa/en/ rather than through Kozoom website. re Kozoom on Apple devices: Works fine on my iPhone 4 running iOS4.1. I never upgraded to the 'better' versions of iOS

Fulcrum. Presumably you were logged in at the time? Works on my ancient iPhone.
I can only suggest trying a different browser if you haven't already (Chrome is available for iOS). Or contact kozoom support, they may be able to advise.

Thanks twosheds. I have tried using a different browser (Chrome) and it still doesn't work; fundamental issue is that Apple doesn't recognise Adobe Flash. I may try to contact Kozoom again but don't hold out much hope having contacted them before, to no avail. Thanks anyway.

Yep you're absolutely right, it seems I spoke too soon, sorry - I've just had it confirmed that it is indeed a TOTALLY FREE LIVE STREAM, so everyone can be happy now! I most say although I haven't had a chance to watch much of the World Championships yet Kazoom has done a great job here. A choice of 14 tables is brilliant imo better than the sky courage. Great for 9ball

It was more my fault than Kozoom's in all honesty, I didn't realise you needed a Premium Pass to watch archive videos (doh). Coverage of W9BC works fine on iPad so struggling to help I'm afraid. Has your friend registered on the http://live.qbsf.qa/en/login website?
