3 and 5 look fine on my TV
Dry breaks and 9 ball breaks - but it's great to see the players giving the break a bit of welly finally after all these years - no snooker player would last a second out there now.

I just saw someone mention a good idea about getting a speed gun to measure the breaks. Who do you think is breaking hardest/fastest?

Nice article from Luke on the front page, with photos from JP, and full results and stats... http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=2399I don't think we can discount the Americans just yet - if there's one thing they have proved over the years, it's that they've got a phenomenal strength of character, and every day starts completely fresh in the world of pool. Don't be surprised to see the Americans come back strong - Team Europe still need to stay on their toes, although I reckon we'll still win comfortably. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

The absence of Earl and Shane from the audience after their matches speaks volumes. The American in-fighting has begun, most probably due to Earl's inappropriate attempts at winding up Darren & Karl. It's a relative coast to victory for Europe from here on in. With perhaps a face saving few matches or so for USA. IMO! lol

Here's a photo of around 40 players watching the Mosconi Cup Day 1 at the GB 9 Ball Tour - what a cracking atmosphere to watch pool together with so many pool players. I had to watch on Harharbar last night because the hotel doesn't have Sky - millions of pop-up adverts needing to be cleared all the time, but I managed to watch some great action. Is anyone feeling a little bit sorry for the Americans yet, or do you think this is long overdue payback for when they drilled us 12-1 ? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2013-12-04 05:35 ]

With the calibre of British players, I believe we could put a team of 5 out ourselves and wipe the floor with the Americans our any other country in the world!
