The American fans are already saying they where screwed out of the cup because of the crowed "sharking" them & also apparently the refs are a joke because they kept resetting the shot clock when the crowd got rowdy.
Just check azbilliards right now, even Dennis hatch is one of the moaners.

USA can moan all they want. We were better, and we won because of it.
Its up to the USA fans to be as rowdy as the euro fans this year and help their team to victory.

Dennis Hatch is just bitter because he was the American's weak link. His behaviour and lack of pool intelligence lost it for the USA. I'll be very surprised if he is in the team next year and I think he fears that too.
No true sportsman would cheer, laugh and point in the face of his opponent when he flukes a pot/safety/win.
I agree the crowd were out of control at times but he's a player not a fan.
I think Johnny Archer and Rodney Morris came across really well and were quite gracious in defeat.
They can say we were lucky but I personally think the luck factor really evened itself out between both teams throughout the event as a whole.
Overall a great Mosconi Cup and I look forward to next year.
**ATTENTION MATCHROOM SPORTS** Please consider getting some new voices in the commentary box for next year. Jerry and Jim are past it and just constantly made errors on player's names, player's histories, how many balls were potted on the break, what the current object ball was, legal and illegal breaks. Rack after rack of mistakes by the commentary team is unacceptable. They also became very irritating on the ear after the first day.
Most idiotic commentary quote of the year, "Johnny Archer will take the gift wrap from your gift to him and strangle you with it."
Why not get someone like Raj Hundal commentating, who has a bit of character, is confident and most importantly knows the game inside out.
Or are they being hired purely for their voices/accents in which case you could consider Ant and Dec next year who unfortunately would still be an improvement.

They should definitely keep using York Hall for the European venue for the Mosconi Cup! Congratulations Team Europe - BEST MOSCONI EVER! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-12-13 07:10 ]

Just check azbilliards right now, even Dennis hatch is one of the moaners. The funny thing is, i think there were about 5x as many shot clock resets for the USA than there were for Europe, so they dont really have a valid point there. As for Hatch, he seemed like a nice bloke when i spoke to him but he brought it on himself trying to go against the crowd and be the bad guy. Also, when he was playing van den berg, he twice was asked to be quiet because he was faffing around with his tip whilst nick was on his shot the first time and screwing up and unscrewing his cue the second time. OK, so chances are you've already seen this but Google just pointed me in the direction of this news story from, dare I say it, the Daily Mail website. It's not a report of the result of the event but it is good publicity for pool itself. It would be great if some TV executive types saw this and gave it a chance.
