Ine Helvik is playing on the free live stream in the Women's Open 10-Ball at Kivenlahti Billiardcircus in Finland. (Featured live stream in The Pro Tube today). This is the quarter-finals now, and apparently she's the underdog in this match! http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/article.php?sid=1664Hot favourites to take the tournament apparently are Sweden's Caroline Roos, and Marika Poikkijoki from Finland. This is Tommi Lamminaho's club, some of you may have met him at EuroTour events previously. Tomorrow they move to the Shopping Centre in Helsinki City Centre, for the semi's and final... Live stream WILL be available tomorrow for both rounds, starting from 12.00 onwards.

The final has just started... Ine was knocked out in the semi-final unfortunately! The commentator said she looked like she was struggling to handle the pressure of playing in front of such a large audience in a shopping centre... I wonder if that's true? Still, not a bad result at all as the field was pretty strong - and quite an experience. [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2011-08-06 13:47 ]

Hi! Thanks Dave for cheering me on I had a really good time in Finland, and until the semifinals I played really strong. It was not the big mall that was a problem in the semis though... New tables, 2 min of practice on them and very dim light did the trick. They put up these tables for us in the morning and they were really different from the Dynamic tables we played on in the club. Off course having 150 people clapping for my opponent and two for me was also a factor, but I was expecting that No complaints though, I appreciate the effort from the organizers and take my loss knowing I just have to even more prepared next year! Take care! Ine ----------------- Ine www.inehelvik.com [ This message was edited by: ine on 2011-08-08 14:20 ]
