It wasn't TV that was the culprit but the BCA scheduling. Kazoom (via the net) have been showing longer races all week but the BCA needed to wrap things up.

Hi guys just got back from Vegas.Dave asked me to post something about the Predator 10 ball tournament so here goes....

It was a good turnout bigger than last year and alot of the big boys were in town. The spectators were growing day by day, i estimate atleast 3-4 hundred people watching on average and were a very enthusiastic knowledgable bunch, as always in the states. The tournament was run very professionally by Dragon Promotions and there were no real problems along the way. The Kazoom team did a great job too and it was nice to see them back in the mix.

Overall i think myself and Karl had the best tournament out of the Brits both finishing 5th place. Considering the quality of the field i think these are good performances. I had a tough draw to get to the quarters beating Daryl Peach, Thorsten Hohmann from 7-2 down, Corey Duel aswell 10-5(it was great fun beating Corey on the tv table after he accused me of sharking at the Mosconi...what a load of rubbish this guy talks!!). I finally lost to Warren Kiamco in the quarter finals from Phillipines who played perfect on me, didnt give me much of a chance. Karl had a very good tournament aswell had a close encounter with Alex Pagulayan just going down 11-9 also beat Jasmin Ouschan and Tony Robles along the way. Darren had some good matches aswell beating Rodney Morris 10-7 and Kim Davenport who is also a tough cookie finally going down to Oscar Dominguez in a close match.Raj had a bit of a mare this trip things just werent going his way from the beginning aswell as Gareth Espirit The Darkside who sruggled with his form a bit but played some good stough too. Tony
got off to a good start in the tournament but had a tough last 32 match with Dennis Orcullo. Daryl did well after losing to me in the earlier rounds to qualify beating Mike Davis pretty comfortably to advance to the KO stages. Stephen Folan had the tournament of his life beating Shane Van Boening comfortably, heard he made some great jump shots in his match also played well on Raj from behind . Well played Stephen! thats a great scalp, everyone was righting you off before the SVB match but you surely proved everyone wrong.

The equipment was diamond tables and they played quite tough and were not tapped in so not evreyone was at home with the conditions. In the end three of the Phillipinos came through to the last four so it showed their class. Congrats to Dennis Orcullo who played like a machine the whole tournament, unlucky Ralph who looked really good the whole tournament but it seemed he saved all his mistakes for the final match up with Dennis.

Predator tell me that they are now starting up a tour where they will have a couple of stops in Europe i think Portugal and Spain and one in the Phillipines later on this year. Also they are working on getting added prizemoney for these events so could be good pay days.

Off to sleep now guys need to rest for the Euro Tour Germany......MAY THE ROLLS BE WITH YOU!!.....THE MAHARAJA

Sorry to break up the banter..

Just had a look at the tourney chart on the Predator 10 Ball website and the semi finals / final seems to be races to 7 / 8 respectively yet the previous rounds were races to 11.

Any reason for this? Or hasn't it been updated properly?
