I only didn't come because I don't like double elimination and how long it takes.

Also anyone thinking of coming won't have had any idea how many were going to turn up which might have put people off, not knowing whether or not it was worth going.

So you're commenting but not commenting? That's a bit confusing. I don't understand all these cryptic comments. Personally I like to just say it like it is and thought you were the same. If you've got something to say then say it.

To be honest it was only 6 that turned up as 1 paid online and didn't turn up and Lee played when he wasn't going to. I don't get it, pool players want comps but then don't turn up to them. If anyone could shed any light onto it for me too I'd like to know why the turnout was so poor yesterday

I like the double elim format. If I knew bb rules I'd have probably hopped on lunnys bike n joined him. I was very surprised when he told me how many we're there, couldn't believe it

What more do people want? An excellent club, newly covered tables and only 8 players turn up? Personally I don't play English pool, but I see English pool players from our area moaning all the time about lack of tournaments on Facebook.

The sad thing is if people don't turn up to events like this, people (especially Riggers) won't want to run them, and it's a shame because Riggers does an excellent job running these events. I just hope he hasn't lost too much interest and runs some American pool events.

i was at the event all day and the asistant manager george has done a great job with the tables from last time i was in, the prices seen reasonable too tbh

the event.............. double elim is a massive no no. the only reasom people do double elim is to keep people spending FACT

ralph holds events and gets 32 all the time, guarrentees 400 per event. single elim. good vibe in the place.

unique hit nail on head. 2 tables and 40 odd players lol

Double elim is good as long as you dont go too deep into the double elim that it takes forever. Its good value for money playing double elim, and it gives lesser players an incentive to play with 2 chances, not just about venue making money.

Staffs open got 103 entries so pool players are out there turning up and paying their money to comps. Wot does Lee Kendall do different to other organisers to get that many entries?

Thanks for the feedback BMW but you were not in the club at all. In fact its a long time since I've seen you in this club so quit lying to people.

£25 too much to charge for imo and i personally think the old rileys had a bad vibe about the place making people take there hats off is not good.

also the snap was rubbish in rileys. hope its changed. i will be entering the next one if its around £10-£15

Thanks for the feedback Sebastian. The next event will be £10 entry. I can't comment on the food as I've not tried it but the burgers look awesome :)

One thing I can say is these tables are the best I've ever played on bar none.
