whats the criteria to challenge ?

All you have to do mate is just as Barry French does, claim your alot lesser player than u actually are and hope to drop on a few mugs and attempt to rob them blind !!

Banter is one thing but telling somebody false information is not right.

I don't claim to be anything other than what I am. Moan about your lot up there who MMTV is rigged for before moaning at me.

I fear the worst for mmtv if players supporters don't turn out in force, atmosphere dreadful this time,if the greats fan club wasn't there then there would have been a handful there, unless things alter il happily be sat at home watching it,no point goin if it's dead, just my opinion but I've been to nearly them all and it's got worse each time over the past 6 month, shame really but Sumat needs to change or it's done

So the 5 supporter rule wasn't adhered to again then ??
What's the point in having rules if players don't stick to them ??
It's a shame mmtv seems to have run its cause as when they first started out they were ye highlight of each month and now it doesn't even get a thought.

Shame by I also fear the worst

nothing like a good old grudge match to boost ratings. A fair bit of smack been talked here. Let's have Baz vs Dixon, no cash just pride at stake and a handshake when the fat lady sings (dry cow gets the winner).

Really think you need to consider your words wisely. My game against Robin was never going to get great numbers. Coming from London is harsh enough as it is, but for Robin to bring any from Cornwall is well.. simply crazy.

My previous two games, I've managed to have 4/5 supporters each time plus any local boys. This time around, my main supporters couldn't attend so not much I could do.

I don't understand why it's so hard to understand the costs involved per supporter. If the situation was reversed, and MMTV was hosted in Brighton, Bournemouth, Penzance.. I know for a fact the outcome would be somewhat similar.

doubles match on diamond at night was one sided on vocals, silence when home team won most racks. whereas the game was close as could get. Was only when other table finished that home support transferred across at end......like football i suppose though, away support loudest majority of time

Speightys lads provided great atmosphere once again, top lads. I had a few there, just not the most vocal bunch to be fair.

Kev, i wasnt really watching Ian practice, more bothered about my game and how i would play. Was a very good game though enjoyed every minute. Cant wait to get back on

5 supporter rule is good but like Tom says, travelling that far and expecting them to get all support is a bit harsh. Bit of a catch 22, we want the southerners playing MMTV, but we also want 10s of supporters for a great atmosphere? Gonna be tough to have both...

What about a rule like for every 20 miles away you live from the club, you lose a supporter.

I.e Robin lived 390000000 miles away, he doesnt have to bring anyone... But the lads who only live 30 miles away have to bring at least 4...

we didnt arrive till gone 2 , so cant comment on the early games tom,i wasnt on about yours or robins game and agree fully with the supporter rule when you boys travel that distance,is more aimed at local players n supporters,id happily come n support lads like yourself that travel far distances

totally aimed at afternoon n night games pal

I generally adhere to the rule it was a tough weekend with it being bank holiday and leeds in challenge cup final , but its a first for me not to have a full turn up !!!
Negativity about the event doesnt help the atmosphere though
But what about a fixed amount per supprter missing below 5 paid to the club would cover costs out of the winnings !
And not every game is gonna attract masses of crowd , thats why games should be picked more wisely to make sure the attendance is the best possible

I'd love to play a player of Dixons class for bragging rights, boy he would look silly if he did lose to me. Wouldnt exactly call it a grudge match though, for some unknown reason the grudge is one way?

I noticed that Baz. I don't know how u and he compare in terms of cats but it would be good to see. Get a scantily clad lass to rack the balls and Roger Hadden's unique brand of humour on commentary and mmtv got itself a main event.

He's a cat 2, I'm a weak cat 3/strong cat 4. Not that I really believe in the category system anymore, anyone is beatable on their day and they are skewed in some peoples favour.

What do you say Dicko? I'll come down to Wakefield and play you race to 21 no money involved just you get to see my level and if you pummel me, well then that tells it's own story doesn't it?
