Kyo i think they were banned as they do not have a leather tip although it isn't phenolic it is still classed as not legal as it isn't leather.

Must be a leather tip for IPT. BTW you can still source the original predator BK. I just have. Fed up with my sledgehammer!

I'll be selling my original Pred BK if anyones intrested. Black linen wrap and white diamond tip but i could send it with a tiger break/jump tip or a phenolic tip. [ This message was edited by: craig on 2006-09-20 19:41 ]

On the subject of break cues - I recently got a BK2 and it's very disappointing. But having said that I thought exactly the same thing when I bought my predator 4K3. Maybe you just need to get used to it.
One question - why does everyone reckon the BK orginal is better?

expertfluke i think that people will say the origional bk is better due to being able to control the cue ball better on the break. I've found that more of my run racks come from 1 or 2 balls in and a centre table white than 4 balls in and the white up on top rail or somewhere. ----------------- [ This message was edited by: PC on 2006-09-20 23:34 ]

Just one ball in and the white anywhere on the bed of the table would do me!

Before I stopped playing regularly.. I was pretty much hitting 1-Ball and Wing-Ball with a central cueball 75 - 80 percent of the time.
Shame I couldn't and still can't pot for toffee.
