There has, and is alot of talk about the weekend competiion, regarding certain people-players person. 2 questions to cazza A. Did Brad parker win B.Who is the player that Brad Parker played that has caused alll this gripe and respobnse from cazza,to the extent that cazza is suggesting draw fixing, witch is a major ascesment. and did this player go further in the competion than Brad Parker.the bpppa only show from last 32.thank you Another point i would agree that the tables for pro players attending pro comps were awful.

I dont think it's an issue with who Brad played and Cazza certainly didnt say there was any draw fixing. I think you've taken it all wrong moneybags. I think she is simply (and correctly) asking for an explanation as to why it happened. [ This message was edited by: stox on 2006-08-23 14:08 ]

Both Brad and Cazza should by now have received an explanation on this matter. If either of them choose to post their response, it's up to them. Moneybags, I think you've mis-interpreted their gripe pal, going over old ground isn't helping matters!!!

Thanks for sticking up for me peeps. NOT ONCE did I suggest draw fixing & I resent that comment quite frankly. We were simply questioning the situation - there is no issue with the individual that Brad had to play in his pre-lim so stop getting personal.
As for the response we were given, I dont actually think I should be the one posting the reasoning behind Brad's pre-lim, and that is for a BPPPA reprsentative to do, so all the players hear it from the horse's mouth for future reference.
I do not want to misinterpret what I was told & get stick from people about it, so best for someone from the BPPPA to clear it up in my opinion. its not for me to say.

I second that - all the players should be privy to such information about the draw process. A better communication strategy or process by which players could ask questions pertaining to the BPPPA (I'm not talking about in person, or on a one to one basis, but a way to distribute answers to issues amongst all members) would go a long way to negating any bad press they might receive in public forums. As far as I'm aware. Si D'Vali, Mike Rogers, Mark Stevenson are on. Apologies to those not mentioned, I know there's a couple more reps. Trouble is there's no output from the players council, I think minutes should be taken and the notes issued after each session. I'd happily do this after each event...

Yeah Si, Mark & myself are on the council along with Nigel Francis and Nigel Webb is the chairman.... Although this may have changed as I think we have only had one meeting this season since I joined the council!!!
I'll have a word with Nigel & Ted about it at the next event as we should definitely have regular meetings... Also I think players should be able to raise issues with any of us (or Ted or Nigel directly) which can then be discussed in the meeting.
We could also have a regular update emailed to all members as suggested above. I'll let you know what happens at Stirling (assuming I can get my car all the way up there again!).

Ok Fair game.
I suppose the topiic solihell page5 2nd members comments can be read many ways, but hey what the heck.
But what about my two questions they seem to be ignored, ive asked a couple of questions and we have total silence on them, and the topic has gone on to something else.
Does anybody know the answers?
john.

Wind it in mate. The issue has been resolved....end of!!
If you're that concerned about the answers to your questions then open the tournament sheets and you'll find your answers there.
