You can bet small if you like, £20 or so but I'll go up to a few hundred.

OK... So Mika just won $25,000 at the International Challenge of Champions... Does this confidence boost make a change to the betting? Mika also got to the final of the World 14.1 Tournament yesterday too (I've got the results "prepped but I'm waiting for photos and match report). I know people have been saying Shane is favourite, and never bet against Shane etc, but Mika does sound like he's in top form at the moment? Dave, Shane has recently won the Nicaragua Open last week I think, and with the field not as high calibre as the World 14.1 Tournament, you still have to sink the balls I think Shane will win this 100-94. One of the all time classics this one will be!

Yes, Nicaragua had very decent prize fund, but as you say, the field was not anywhere near as impressive as Mika's 14.1 event, and the pressure no where near equal to the ICOC WTA format, also factor in that Mika has stayed in New York but Shane has been traveling. I'm sorry, I don't care what anyone says, and I do respect Shane's game a lot, but it's got to be Europe for me, and that means Mika - and by a decent margin too I reckon... 100-79 to Mika I reckon. OMG... Here are some superb stats from the game last night, you're gonna freak out when you see this... http://www.oldpoolhall.com/tarupdates/shanemika.htmMan, you've got to love he internet... It's got it all! Did anyone see when Mika slapped his shaft on the table after missing (and leaving) a ball yet again, and then stomp cue his into the floor when he got back to his seat - quite unusual behaviour for someone of Mika's stature, but seriously, he seemed to catch all the bad luck last night, and quite the opposite for Shane who got sweet roll after roll. The day ended thus... Mika Immonen 25 : 35 Shane Van Boening [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-10-13 08:39 ]

Shane must have some break
46 balls on break to Mika's 16 thats over double the amount of balls per break and 3 10 Balls on Break to Mika 1.

Do those stats include the number of times Shane popped CB in the side pockets as well? Is that why the numer is so high?
From what I have read, Shane didnt get 'all' the roll, mainly clearing up Mika's mistakes?

I dont think its unusual behaviour from Mika. He seams to have his tantrums on the table quite often. Thats why if I were a betting man Shane would always be the safer bet against him.

Be honest, I reckon we've all be so annoyed by our game that we've acted in a way that we're not proud of... My goodness I know I have!
It's actually quite reassuring to see a top pro look as human as we are - sometimes you get to thinking they are totally different to us, but actually it;s the same game and the same emotions for all of us I guess.
