Lewis Taylor to the list as a 5 please

Dont know who would verify this but he has played in a few comps (including GB9 plate).

Most recent was St albans at the weekend where he lost to both Zoe Wild and Sam Sheerwood, who are both 5's on your list

No, not wuite the right idea from what i make out.

I think the way that it is supposed to be is that if say, I played Lewis Taylor it would be a player rated 8 vs a player rated 5.

Lewis would be racing to 5 racks and i would be racing to 8, effectivly giving him a 3 start in a race to 8.

Derek Bickerstaff should be a 6 not a 7. He's a good English player in local leagues in Birmingham but he isn't really good enough to call a 6. You should add Tony Frye to the list as a 9.

Overall its a good list at the top end but the bottom end is way out. For example Duane Fox, Ben Towers, Mark Towers, Shane Reece, Alec Tasker, Lee Happs and Kault Mash should be 5's.

Billy Jamal, Ryuji Tose and Derek Bickerstaff are definite 6's.

Temujin Dixon and Craig Waddingham as 6's are you having a laugh?? Easily 8's, Tem would be even higher if he took 9ball seriously.

Now theres a full list I think I've self deprecated by saying I was a 5. With this list in force I am probably a 7 if not an 8. I have loads of names to add to the list in addition:-

Dan Harvey - 7
Dean Gamble - 8
Nigel Webb - 10 (Surely he has to be higher than an 8 on account that he was one of the best in the UK. Not on Daz's level etc but he as good as the 9's and 10's on the list.)
Mick Jones - 6
Ash Memon - 7
Paul Wayte - 6
Jeff Collins - 6
Pete Knight - 6
Carl Gamble - 7
Keith Walkerdine - 6
Rich Bennett - 7
Phil Shanks - 5
Jonathan Savage - 5
Craig Lane - 5
Julian Barber - 5
Mick Walkerdine - 5
Stephen Webb - 5
Dave Kearns - 5
Andrew Evans - 5
Jenny Robinson - 5
Dawn Robinson - 5
Mark Robinson - 5
Ashley Sibson - 5
Jake Harman - 6
Francois Loi - 6
Ryan Dilkes - 6
David Dunn - 5
Darren Laffer - 5
Emily Grant - 5

Tony Frye
Adam Shaw

Awesome stuff, I don't envy the work you've put in to get things going on this. From a first look I'd say 85-90% of these are appropriate, which is very impressive.

A handful of players here that are definitely a point or two out in my opinion, but I'm not going to mention any names as I know them personally and it's up to them if they want to suggest a change or not. A couple are probably rubbing their hands with glee...

Myself personally - I'd put myself at 6 and that's on a good day. no idea where 7 came from - whatever formula you're using has probably missed a decimal point when it came to me lol... but I'm not going to moan about it, just sayin' :)

Also there's one 6 in that list who is hilariously undervalued. I'll leave it to others to spot him :)

It's probably easier for Jon and everyone else to mention the people you think are overated/underrated as thats the point, get a list together which is accurate for people to use in comps. This list isnt "the list" yet it takes feedback to make it the proper list which is accurate

ok fair enough - this is my opinion though and if the players themselves think differently then they may be better judges :) but these are my 100% honest opinions based on a combination of personal experience, additional knowledge and comparisons with other players on the same level. here goes:

T Dixon stands out as insanely underrated. Currently a 6 lol. Not primarily a 9-ball player but the geezer lost hill-hill in the final of the world under-21 8-ball championship this year. I reckon he has some idea which way round to hold the cue.

Myself (Lee M) 6 on a good day. precisely 0% on the challenge division this year.

Kalin V is 7 or 8, not 6 (sorry mate...)

Alex K I reckon should be a 7 rather than a 6 based on the other 6s and 6s on the list. the guy's got 8/6/6 points in the gb9 challenge so far this year, v solid. put it this way, i'd back him with my own money without a second thought against 80% of the other 6s on the list.

Finally, the Shaws - GambleGamble I reckon should be 10 not 9. the guy's phenomenal when he gets going. last 64 at the worlds this year as well.

Adam 'so cool he's bringing in a new ice age' Shaw should probably be a 9 rather than an 8 - I think the only reason he's on 8 at all is because he's new to the scene. Wasn't he leading Drago 8-4 at one point in Daventry?
