Anyone considered hosting a qualifier for the US Open? You would only need 10 players paying £30 for the winners prize to be a slot in the US Open, any more players you could offer two slots or one slot with spending money. Just a suggestion. Would there be any interest in a US Open qualifier?

I'd love to hold more qualifiers, but you need to play the numbers game... If you turn up with a ten man qualifier, the club won't even give you free tables to play it on. That's why it's so important for everyone to support these satellites/qualifiers. Let's see how this Norway event goes first! Incidentally, if you can't make the qualifier tomorrow, you can still enter the Norwegian 9-Ball Challenge... You just have to pay your own way. The two semi-final winners at the qualifier will get to know what it feels like to be a player with decent sponsorship... With flights, hotel, entry fee and some spending money, all paid up! The more runners the bigger the prize fund will be... So bring a friend or two... Or three!!! THE NORWEGIAN 9-BALL CHALLENGE THE PRO9 PROMOTIONS QUALIFIER

Speaking of strange - that picture of Martinho Correia wasn't very flattering. Pale faced and dead eyed. It makes him look like Count Dracula! Mind you, he spends hours on end without sunshine, draining life out of his victims in the dungeons of Castle Victoria. And now he's won a prize that involves going to a place of long dark winters....Mmmm. Seriously though, well done and good luck to Kevin and Martinho in Norway

Nice one Martinho and Kevin!!! See u in Oslo soon To you guys who hasn`t registered yet; We have announced on our website that we will have the draw on the net 1 week before the tournament starts. That means that Wednesday is the last day to register, and that we can not guarantee a spot to players who try to register after Wednesday!!!

Stole this post from another site: The Norwegian 9-ball Challenge, 12-15 july in Olso, featuring players like Ronnie O'Sullivan, Raj Hundal, Mika Immmonen, Marcus Chamat, Imran Majid, Tony Drago, Neils Fejen and Oliver Ortmann as well as other players from around the world will be shown on Norwegian TV2, live on Friday 14 july from 13.00 to 20.00 (BSE) and on Saturday 15 july from 13.00 to the end. It will also be available via TV2 webTV for the rest of the world. A so far unnamed betting company will also probably broadcast every match played on the TV-table, but the picture quality will probably not be as good as TV2 webTV. Here is the link to the webTV: http://webtv.tv2.no/webtv/You have to register (it's free): http://webtv.tv2.no/webtv/mywebtv/register.doHandy word list: Brukernavn - user name Epost - email Passord - password Bekreft - confirm Fornavn - first name Etternavn - surname Thaks to hegeland on The Snooker Forum
