It's seems like an age, but it was only one week ago that Britain's Roy Kimberley and Germany's Thorsten Hohmann were collecting their hard earned gold medals on the podiums at the EPBF's 2007 European Pool Championships in the Czech Republic.

Still time then to showcase these wonderful bonus photographs from the official photographer, and to let you know that there are more photographs and even videos at the official European Championships web site.

More glory, courtesy of Britain's Wheelchair players in the 9-Ball

On the final day of EPBF's European Pool Championships, Britain's Wheelchair players earn more glory in the 9-Ball, as another UK player storms to the top in the Czech Republic.

This time it was Roy Kimberley grabbing the gold medal, with a great win in the final over Sweden's Henrik Larsson. Fellow Brits Daniel Luton and Mark McNeill also featured in the Quarter-Finals, along with Ireland's Fred Dinsmore.

LONDON OPEN CANCELLED!

We are sorry to say that due to unavoidable circumstances, the EPT London Open has had to be cancelled until further notice.

The main reason for this is that the EPBF have asked us to cancel this event because it is clashing with another event which is EPBF sanctioned and is held in Biel (Switzerland) on the same dates. Even though we feel that our event was announced first, we totally want to avoid any confrontations with the EPBF in any way, so the event has to be cancelled.

To add to this, the reds and yellows pool have an event on the same weekend too!

Any players who have already entered this event will be contacted by Daryl Peach within the next day or so in order to gain addresses so that entry fees can be sent back on Monday. Also if any players have already booked flights, please send the flight tickets/confirmation to us and we will be happy to refund you.

We are extremely disappointed with this outcome as i am sure all the players are but there is just no way around the problem.

Please accept the EPT and its organisers apologies.

Watch LIVE Bwin broadcasts from the European Pool Championships!!!

Great Britain owes a debt of gratitude to the BWPPA's wheelchair players after Daniel Luton grabbed the first GBR Gold Medal at the European Pool Championships 8-Ball division, trouncing former champion Henrik Larsson from Sweden with a dominating 5-2 score. Larsson beat Britain's Roy Kimberley in the Semi-Finals so Kimberley adds to the British Medal haul with a bronze.

In the Men's 8-Ball division, in a clash likened to the "hare and the tortoise", Malta's Tony Drago sped all the way to the final only to fall at the final hurdle in what turned out to be a rather one-sided match with Germany's Oliver Ortmann. The German champion adds yet another European 8-Ball Gold to his collection, and Drago had to settle for Silver after the decisive 8-3 score.

Now it's the turn of the 9-Ball Pool players and you can watch LIVE matches for free at BETandWIN, and have a bet on the results while you're watching - just click on the Bwin banner here, sign up for an account at Bwin (free) and watch the pro's playing LIVE and enjoy testing your pool knowledge with small bet too!
