The Action Report is proud to announce TAR 23: Dominguez vs. Hundal at the TAR Studio in Las Vegas, NV. This match up between two of the top players in the world will take place on December 9-10, 2011. Raj The Hitman Hundal will be taking on young gun Oscar Dominguez in a two set 10 Ball battle with a third set tie breaker if necessary.
The format has each man bringing $10,000 to the table. They will play a race to 25 on Friday December 9 starting at 10 PM eastern and another set the next day on Saturday December 10th. If they split these two sets they come back Sunday the 11th to play one race to 25 for it all. One man walks away with $20,000 and one goes home with a sad story.

Diamond named as the Official Table
THE 18th ANNUAL PartyPoker.net Mosconi Cup will be contested on a DIAMOND PRO-AM table following an agreement between Diamond Billiard Products of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Matchroom Sport of the UK. That means that for the first time in the events history Diamond will be supplying the table on which all four days of the most intense competition on the pool calendar will be played.
Diamond is well established in the United States as the Official Table of major events such as the US Open, the Derby City Classic, the Ultimate 10-Ball, US Open One-Pocket Championship, US Open 10-Ball Championship as well as all WPBA events. In addition it is the popular choice among tournament players across the United States.
Chad Scharlow, Vice President of Diamond Billiard Products Inc. commented I am very excited to have Diamond pool tables featured at the Mosconi Cup. I consider the Mosconi Cup and Diamond tables to be premium brands within the billiard industry and look forward to showcasing them as such.

A selection of the shots included in the 2012 Shot Programme
Dear Artistic Pool Players, Fans, and Friends
In consideration of the 2012 WPA World Artistic Pool Championship, the WPA Artistic Pool Division has been working on a revised and updated shot / challenge program for several months, using the 2011 WC Program as a statistical guide in the overall process. There were a number of valued suggestions from the APTSA (Artistic Pool and Trick Shot Association) Shot Committee for some of the same shots being used. Primary focus for the 2012 program was to maintain higher percentage make rate challenges, which included keeping some of the new shots that were introduced at the 2011 WPA World Artistic Pool Championship.
Since the 2012 event is only 4 months away, it is necessary for the WPA APD to start the invitation process and release the new shot / challenge program for player practice and fan interest. A unanimous vote by the WPA APD has approved all program contents and its release at this time.
Please see the attached document (2 formats) of the 2012 WPA World Artistic Pool Shot / Challenge Program. An official tiebreaker challenge is included after the last masse shot in the program. We feel this program is player, fan, media, and sponsor friendly. In addition, it should help maintain competitive fairness for all participants to determine the next WPA World Artistic Pool Champion.

Williams Named as USA Skipper
CHARLIE WILLIAMS will captain the USA team at the 18th annual PartyPoker.net Mosconi Cup which takes place at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from 8th to 11th December.
It will be Williams debut as a captain although he has played in the event five times (2001-2005) and been victorious on four occasions. He sports a playing record of 12 wins from 21 matches.
In his capacity of head of Dragon Promotions, Williams has had great success coaching individual players over the past few years and coupled with his experience as a competitor in the event, it was felt that he was the man to revive American fortunes after last years defeat.
"I am undeniably thrilled to be chosen to captain this USA Mosconi Cup team. I've been on the team as a player five times, but in many ways this is even more of an honor, said Williams.
The Europeans no doubt have a solid team with Darren, Niels, Ralf, Nick and Chris, but when I look at our roster with Rodney, Shane, Johnny, Shawn, and Mike I honestly feel we are more than their match.
Of course anything can happen in the Cup, but you have to believe in your team and I can't help but really believe in this one," he added.

Fisher maintained her undefeated run in Manila to race to the Yalin World Championship title with her 10-4 dismantling of Taiwan's Pei Chen Tsai. Fisher excelled in a field that had 70 pro players worldwide vying for the title, and fought for 5 days winning 9 matches in a row in the sport's hardest tournament to win.
