The Pressure Room's biggest gig so far...
The absolutely legendary Marquee Club, touted as the most influential venue in the history of rock and pop music, is the venue this Thursday for a night to remember as every pool player's favourite band play their largest venue of all time, making it one of the best places to catch "The Pressure Room" in action.
The Pressure Room's live performance has to be seen to be believed, it really is something else, so mark it in your diary now and have a night out on the town with the rest of us, with Rico showing some serious talent as lead singer and front man.

An open knock out for regular Diamond 9 Ball Pool Singles League and non league members, with no player restrictions led to a high qality field appearing for the annual knock-out event.
The "Basildon Bomber" was the eventual winner taking down the lion's share of the prize fund, after a strong performance in the final against Rob Chalmers.

Leicester Annual 9 Ball Competition
The Rack'N'Roll will be hosting their Annual 9 Ball competition on Sunday 2nd March 2008, starting at 1pm, with registration at 12.30pm.
Last year Tommy Donlon won the competition and there were 40 runners in the field which was really good for our club, we hope you will turn out again and make it a success again this year, as it was a really good atmosphere and a good day's pool last year and we hope for the same again this year.

New Rules of Play starting January 1st, 2008
The WPA has already back in 1994 found the need to rewrite their Rules of Play. There were a lot of things in the rules that were redundant, unclear, misleading, etc. At the time, the task was given to Bob Jewett to prepare a set of Rules that would be much better than the one we had before. The goal was to have a new set of rules by January 1st, 2006. That goal was not achieved for many reasons. The main reason was that we felt that it was better to delay the publishing of the new rules rather than have a new set installed which would prove to not be practicable.
