HIGH STAKES RING GAMES, TOURNAMENTS AND NON-STOP ACTION
9 Ball, One Pocket and 9 Ball Banks - Three massive individual tournaments decide the "ALL AROUND" Champion at this incredible action fest of a hustler's jamboree, and this is going to be the BIGGEST and BEST year ever.
Over $100,000.00 is now being added to all the different pool games with "The Masters Of The Table" receiving a total of $30,000.00. This year 5 new titles have been added to the All Round division, each receiving $1,000. This event is open to all men and women.

Older players and fans remember the sense of fun and activity that permeated the old Johnston City tournament. The Derby City Classic established a new tradition based upon the best of the past, and recreated that atmosphere of fun, challenge and enjoyment, but added its own special twist. In addition to the ongoing contests in 9-Ball, One Pocket and 9-Ball Bank, there are:
$15,000 Bank Ring Game
On Friday night at 8:00 PM Jan. 4th there will be a 5 handed $3,000 ENTRY fee Bank Ring Game presented by Grady Mathews for the spectators delight! Contact Grady for sign ups at 803-407-0047.
$15,000 10-Ball Game
On Saturday night at 8PM Jan. 5th there will be a 5 handed $3,000 ENTRY fee 10 Ball Ring game presented by Grady Mathews to the delight of the spectators! Contac Grady for sign ups at 803-407-0047.
$100 Entry Ring 10-Ball Game Or Special Match
Starting at Midnight Friday January 4th and running every night on the TV Table, until and including Jan 11th there will be a Ring Game or special match played in honor of Denny Searcy. Jay Helfert will run this entertaining event that may last till 8 in the morning. Many top players are expected to test their skills and make some money in this OPEN event! $1,000 Added Mini- Tournaments
Mini-Tournaments - Approximately 3 evenings of the extravaganza see an additional mini-tournament in 9-Ball, One Pocket or 9-Ball Bank. Using added money from outside sponsors and small entry fees, 32 - 64 players have an added opportunity to win prize money and enjoy practicing old skills or refining new ones. Since every mini-tournament in the first Classic has a full field, it’s obvious the players make the most of these added opportunities. $10,000 Added Straight Pool
This High-Run Straight Pool event is presented by Bob Jewett. Not only is he adding the 10k out of his own pocket, he is personally running the event for the spectators enjoyment.
