Tyrone’s Junior Pool Player Is Crowned Irish Junior Masters 9-Ball Champion
Ronan Fay who hails from Coalisland in Co. Tyrone was crowned the 2006 Irish 9-Ball Junior Masters champion at the weekend, defeating a host other top junior 9-ball pool players along the way in Enniskillen Co. Fermanagh.
This young Green Baize cueist showed his great talent by playing outstanding pool throughout the day to lift his first ever 9-ball junior championship title with a 7-3 victory over Paul Loughran (Tyrone) in the final and send him up the junior 9-ball rankings as this event had double points on offer.

UK Ace is First Ever Brit to Win Eurotour!
Congratulations to Imran Majid, who successfully fought his way through one of the toughest European Tournament draws ever seen to become the only Brit to have won an EPBF EuroTour Event - EVER!!!
An incredible 240 players from 33 countries made the trip to Montfalcone in Italy from all over Europe and Russia.
Over the years Majid has featured three times in EuroTour Semifinals, but added to his consistently good results, this win elevates him to 3rd on the EuroTour Ranking List - after Germany's Thomas Engert and Dutchman Nick van den Berg.
The UK's Daryl Peach exited the event at the Last 16 stage after a hill-hill battle with Poland's Karol Skowerski, and he current sits at 7th on the EuroTour Ranking List.
Good news too for fellow Brits Andy Worthington and Kevin Uzzell who slide into the crucial top 28 of the EuroTour Rankings (for automatic World Championship qualification) ranked 25th and 27th respectively.

BPPPA SUMMER POOL TRAINING CAMP
The B.P.P.P.A. have arranged in association with the Royal Dutch Pool Federation (KNBB) a summer pool training camp for pupils and juniors which will be held at Riley’s Stretford, Manchester.
Only 8 places will be available
8 Dutch players along with 2 Dutch Junior National Coaches will also participate.
The course will be 3 days of coaching in the following disciplines:
9 Ball
8 Ball
14:1 Continuous Straight Pool
followed by 2 days of tournament play between Great Britain v The Netherlands in individual and team events.
Ages: 10 – under 16 (Pupils)
16 – under 18 (Juniors)
THE COURSE WILL BE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE
