Coventry Qualifier for £8,000 Mickey Flynns 10-Ball
As you are probably aware there is a 10 ball tournament to be held at Mickey Flynns (Cambridge) on August 18th/19th of this year.
Entry fee £250 with a prize fund of £8,000 (limited to 32 players).
Jamie White is organising a qualifying tournament to be held at Coventry Hertford Place Rileys on Sunday 29th April.
Only £20 to enter. The winner receives a guaranteed place at the Mickey Flynns event worth £250.

2007 Midlands Mosconi Cup Derby
Andrew Warden and Jamie White are running a team 9-ball event on Sunday 27th May 2007 at Rileys, Solihull.
The flyer has all the details, but basically it will be a challenge between 8 different Rileys clubs in the Midlands . Each team will consist of 6 players and the match will be a straight knock-out with each round consisting of singles, scotch-doubles and trebles matches.
Each team pay £60 entry (that's only £10-a-man), it is limited to 8 teams on a first come first served basis. £30 deposit (cheques payable to A.Warden), balance on the day.
Winning team get £300 plus trophy, runner-up gets £180 plus trophy. Flyer for first round losing teams.
Each Rileys club that wants to enter a team should nominate a captain who should make contact with Andrew or Jamie.

Rileys Nottingham Announce a Weekly Open 9-Ball Tournament
The tournament is run every Tuesday at Rileys in Nottingham city centre on St. James Street, and currently starts at 8pm although it will be changing to 7:30pm in case of numbers increasing.
£5 entry, all money is paid out in prize fund, we have recently been struggling for numbers so only 1st and 2nd get paid, that would change if numbers increased. I would pay at least the top 3 if we had 12 or more show up.
The format at the minute is we play in 2 groups with the top 2 from each going to the semi finals, again if numbers increase above 12 we would change to a double eliminator.
There is no h/c system at the minute but would definitely consider one in the future if it was deemed necessary.
We currently get between 4 and 8 entries each week so any help getting things going would be greatly appreciated.

Matchroom Announce Players for 207 World Pool Masters
MATCHROOM Sport are delighted to announce the proposed line-up for the 2007 PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters.
For only the second time in the 15-year history of the tournament there will be a female player among the 16 competitors as the field will include Austrian Jasmin Ouschan.
The 21-year-old is ranked as the World No.1 in the women's rankings and earlier this week clinched the Women's Straight Pool title at the European Championships in Liberec, Czech Republic.
There is a total of $62,000 in prize money with the winner getting $20,000, while first round losers will pocket $1,500. The World Pool Masters is one of the most prestigious competitions in the pool calendar and will again be held in Egmond aan Zee, Holland from Friday, June 8 to Sunday, June 10.
