There has been a long wait for the first major event of the year, and all the big guns have been getting itchy trigger fingers, so it's no surprise to see that this eagerly anticipated event has brought the stars out to shine, and who knows, perhaps how things go here will set the trend for the new year? Will 2012 be another year of European domination, or the beginning of the American revolution. Despite what appears to be a lack of talent from Taiwan, Japan and China, there are plenty of very strong Filipinos, will Efren Reyes be able to pick up yet another DCC crown or will the years finally show on the Peter Pan of Pool? If we're really lucky, we'll get to see some little known "road players" surface into the DCC limelight, grabbing some cash before slinking back into the shadows of America's billiard parlours, or, perhaps we will see some fresh young talent rise from the ranks to take his place among the familiar names of pool?
