Factors of Proper Execution
The safety is one of the most complex subjects in 9 ball. If you lack the ability to properly execute safeties, your game will surely suffer.
Many beginners fail to recognize the safety option, and tend to go for the shot at all costs in all situations. Just as there are factors to running the rack, there are factors that come up when you are faced with no shot options.
When faced with no option to pocket the object ball, we need an alternate solution that gives the table back to our opponent - but at the same time limits his options.

IPT & POPULAR UK CHANNEL TEAM UP IN MAJOR BROADCASTING DEAL
London, UK. July 10th, 2006:
PLAYER, the hot new competition-based channel in the United Kingdom, has announced plans to broadcast International Pool Tour events and programming.
The channel, which is available on the UK’s popular Sky Digital satellite service and Telewest cable, is seen in over 14 million UK households. The channel is owned by Flextech, a major broadcasting group in Europe.

Seville is celebrating this year its own version of the World Games with approximately 30 different sports taking place over a period of three months.
Cue sports kicked off the games and after more than a year in preparation, the best billiards event ever organised in Spain took place between the 3rd and 9th of July 2006.
With temperatures oscillating between 39 and 44 degrees Celsius (102º F and 111º F), the heat was on for more than 1200 players who were competing for a share of more than 135,000 euros in prize money and the title of Champion in their particular discipline.
