Because of the long journey to Asia this event is sure to draw many world class players as Korea is just a 3 1/2 hour flight away.

It was nice to see some of the old faces at Chichester, and great to see Doug and Brenda behind the desk for the first time in a long while.
Unfortunately for us, Tony Drago was unable to attend as he was busy at the 2007 Paul Hunter English Open in Leeds, but other players like Kevin Smith, Anthony Ginn, and David Walsh were there to fill the void.
After a long day of play, the full double elimination tournament came down to the crunch. Craig Osborne from Ipswich had the "hot seat" from the winner's side of the draw, whilst Parker, McCarthy and Ginn vied for the chance to meet him in the double elimination final.

Marcus Chamat had a profitable trip to the Greek Island of Kos
Europe's best players were invited to Kos to compete with the top players in Greece at the Pi.Gal Billiard Academy's 9-Ball Open tournament in July.
A 10,500 prize fund awaited those bold enough to accept this challenge - And it was Sweden's Marcus Chamat who was rewarded for his efforts as he took home the "lion's share" of the prize fund from the most hospitable nation in Europe.

8-Ball Champion Darren Appleton with Tournament Director, Shirley Ang
Local favourite Darren Appleton wins on "home soil".
Winning is sweet, especially in your home county, and that's exactly what Yorkshire's Darren Appleton has done this weekend in Barnsley. The tournament got underway, and with the expected low numbers it was made a double elimination to the semi-finals format, so the players got plenty of table time. Results were updated as they arrived, round by round.
