BPPPA SUMMER POOL TRAINING CAMP
The B.P.P.P.A. have arranged in association with the Royal Dutch Pool Federation (KNBB) a summer pool training camp for pupils and juniors which will be held at Riley’s Stretford, Manchester.
Only 8 places will be available
8 Dutch players along with 2 Dutch Junior National Coaches will also participate.
The course will be 3 days of coaching in the following disciplines:
9 Ball
8 Ball
14:1 Continuous Straight Pool
followed by 2 days of tournament play between Great Britain v The Netherlands in individual and team events.
Ages: 10 – under 16 (Pupils)
16 – under 18 (Juniors)
THE COURSE WILL BE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE

BPPPA Main Tour Ranking Event No.8
In search for clubs with more tables, please be advised that we have also changed Main Tour Ranking event No. 8 from Coventry to Riley's Stafford.
The dates remain unchanged for the weekend of 29-30 July.
Coventry has just undergone a refurb and was originally scheduled for a refit containing 16 tables. However, only 12 have been installed. Hence the reason for the change.

Mc Laughlin Claims Another Ranking Tournament
Last Saturday saw a great turn out of players from throughout the 32 Counties of Ireland make there way to Enniskillen for the fourth staging of the 2006 Fermanagh 9-Ball Open Pool Championships.
It was also great to see a good turn out of young junior players who also made the trip where they all put in good performances in their very first senior event and no more so than the two times junior ranking tour champion 12 year-old Ben Mc Moran (Tyrone) who played outstanding pool in his group matches against Ireland’s top ranked players.

A tournament played in two phases, the 1st for Spanish lower categories only
The second for 1st category Spanish players and all International players
The 2nd phase will be played exclusively on 24 X 9’ tables
Maximum of 256 participants playing in 8 groups of 32 with the top 4 in each group qualifying for the final bracket of 32
Groups will play the first two rounds as double knockout and thereafter, straight knockout. All games, races to 7 racks
The final 32 will play straight knockout with races to 8 racks.
Dress code will apply.
