TAR 37: Shane Van Boening vs Corey Deuel - All Around
TAR 37 is a rematch of TAR #1 with an all around format. Corey Deuel will be taking on Shane VanBoening November 1-3, 2013 playing 8 Ball. 9 Ball, and 1 Pocket. Available live on streaming PPV.
All games are rack your own with a traditional rack played on the TAR Diamond 4.5 x 9 table. The schedule is as follows:
November 1: One Pocket Race to 8
November 2: 8 Ball Race to 30
November 3: 9 Ball Race to 30
Start time is 6PM Pacific each day. The prize fund is $5000. The winner of each day gets $1000 and the loser $500. Whoever wins the all around gets a $500 bonus.
This is a match that I have had in the back of my mind for a long time. It worked out that now it will actually happen. Hopefully everyone that is interested will join us next month for what I think will be a great match.

All wheelchair players invited to compete as BWPPA 2013 Season concludes
The 2013 BWPPA tour continued at Event 4 as Aslam Abubaker took the Talisman 10 Ball Championships with a win over Ireland's Fred Dinsmore.
Abubaker took pole position in the rankings from Kimberley, and with just one event to go, the battle for the top spot at the end of the season and the Predator Ikon-2 cue that goes with it, could come down to the last ball of the season. The rankings are based on best 4 out of 5 events, and with the final event being event 5, only this season's points will count, and provisionally Abubaker is 20 points clear of Roy Kimberley and Abubaker knows a place in the final would mean he would become the only player other than Roy Kimberley to hold the No.1 spot at the end of the season, in the history of the tour. Kimberley needs to finish two places higher in the event to regain the top spot.
After this event, in the new year we will be moving to our permanent home for the tour at Stoke Mandeville and will be based there for 3 out of 5 events, although we will be returning to the 'Escape Pool Bar' in Barnsley for the other 2 events.
In the best news ever for the tour, it is with great pride that I can officially announce that the pool legend and future hall of fame member Dynamite Darren Appleton has agreed to become the patron of the British Wheelchair Pool Players Association (BWPPA).
Darren is currently raising funds for BWPPA by auctioning some of his playing shirts from his big events, for more details on his auction see his Facebook page.

Feijen is the Master!
HOLLANDS NIELS FEIJEN captured the 21st annual PartyPoker World Pool Masters crown as he came through a tense final to defeat Englands Darren Appleton 8-6. It was Feijens first victory in an event he has been competing in periodically for ten years and he picks up a $20,000 winners cheque.
It was consolation for his heart-break defeat in the final of the World Cup of Pool last month when he and his Dutch team mate Nick Van den Berg narrowly went down to the Philippines.
The crowd was cheering hard for Darren. We had both been playing well all week and that is sport, somebody has to lose and somebody has to win. He played really well all week and it could have gone either way. I managed to win and it is a great feeling, said a thrilled Feijen after being presented with his magnificent trophy by six-times Masters champion Ralf Souquet.

Semi Final Line up set
THE SEMI-FINALS of the PartyPoker World Pool Masters will be between Alex Pagulayan and Niels Feijen and then Chang Jung-lin and Darren Appleton as the star studded invitational event reaches its thrilling climax at the Barnsley Metrodome on Sunday evening.
The Sunday afternoon session saw the three remaining quarter-finals take place and the opener saw two of Europes big guns at this years Mosconi Cup face off as Mika Immonen and Niels Feijen took to the arena at the Metrodome. It was the Dutchman who got off to a flyer as he won the lag and took the opening four racks, not missing anything along the way.

Shane and Dyno win as Pag takes first semi spot
THE BUSINESS end of the 2013 PartyPoker World Pool Masters is shaping up following the final two first round matches and the first of the quarter finals at the Metrodome in Barnsley on Saturday night. Darren Appleton and Shane Van Boening won through to the last eight, while Alex Pagulayan became the first player to reach the semi-finals.
The opening match of the evening saw Mosconi Cup star Shane Van Boening come through his opening match with a solid 8-4 win against young Kuwaiti Omar Al Shaheen. Van Boening, who won his third US Open title last week, was made to work for it but looked stronger in the closing stages.

2013 PartyPoker.com World Pool Masters - Wins for Mika, Alex and Chang
THREE MORE matches took place this afternoon at the Barnsley Metrodome as the opening round of the 2013 PartyPoker World Pool Masters continued. There were wins for Finland, Canada and Taiwan as Mika Immonen, Alex Pagulayan and Chang Jung-lin all enjoyed victories.
There are two more first round matches to take place this evening in the three day $66,000 event but the final match of the session saw an England v Taiwan clash as Blackpools Daryl Peach met Chang Jung-lin, the 2012 World 8 Ball Champion and it ended in a close victory for the Taiwanese after he clawed back a big deficit.
Peach, a winner of this event in 1995, recovered from a poor start to move into a 5-2 lead before Chang took the next two to set up a close finish. The Taiwanese though made an illegal break and although Peach pocketed the lowest ball, he broke down and Chang levelled the score at 5-5.
There was a safety exchange in the next before Peach played a superb trickshot as he found the cue ball locked against the 5 on the rail. He jacked the cue up and played a proper masse that pocketed the orange 5 up table, screwed back to pocket the 8 and moved the 9 ball out and away from the rail.
He completed the table to take a 6-5 lead and gave himself a chance with his next break. He went through the balls but made a poor error as he scratched, moving the cue ball down table for the 8 and 9.

2013 PartyPoker.com World Pool Masters - Action underway in Barnsley
The 21st annual running of the PartyPoker World Pool Masters got underway at the Metrodome in Barnsley, Yorkshire and there were first round wins for Chris Melling, Nick Ekonomopoulos and Niels Feijen. The $66,000 tournament has been a staple on the pool calendar for over two decades and was making its first appearance in the UK since 2005.
In front of an excellent first night crowd at the popular Yorkshire venue, defending champion Karol Skowerski of Poland fell at the first hurdle as he was beaten 8-3 by Englands Chris Melling who looked in fine form in front of his local fans.
Melling, whose smooth action is renowned the world over, flew into a 5-0 lead in front of his Yorkshire faithful as he took advantage of the winners break format. Skowerski, who enjoyed a magical three days in his home town of Kielce as he won the Masters last year, took the sixth rack to get his name on the board.
