PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters All Set at the Riviera
Matchroom Sport is delighted to announce that www.matchroompool.com - the Official Online Home of all Matchroom Sport pool events is now live.
The new site replaces all previous sites and will be operating on a year round basis, making it the first port of call for global pool news.
To open proceedings, matchroompool.com will be offering comprehensive coverage of the 2009 PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters which gets underway this evening at the Riviera Hotel.

Making its second appearance at the Riviera Hotel and Casino on the world-famous Strip, the Masters features 16 top players from around the world vying for a $66,000 prize fund with $20,000 going to Sunday’s champion.
Played over five sessions from Friday evening, through Saturday afternoon, evening and then Sunday afternoon and evening, the PartyPoker.net World Pool Masters will feature three matches per session.
Defending champion Alex Pagulayan will be opening proceedings this evening and faces a tough proposition in the shape of European Champion Nick van den Berg of Holland. Each match is a race to eight with winner breaking.
Following that, America’s Shane Van Boening looks to be a hot favourite over Korea’s Yu Ram Cha and the final match sees the other US hope Johnny Archer take on England’s Imran Majid.
www.matchroompool.com will feature exclusive interviews with the stars who make up the field as well as comments and predictions from the big names of world pool.
