Hi all,
new to all this as have fiiinally got hold of my own table
It's a 7' brunswick and I intend to be playing mainly 9 ball using 2" (or possibly 2-and-a-bit inch) set of balls.
But what to recover it with?
ANY thoughts or advice on the type of cloth very welcome.

Simonis 860 - no hesitation in recommending the best cloth out there, and made in Europe too!

It might be fascinating to try the new Predator cloth, made in Australia, they're famous for their sheep and sheering out there, so should be good.
