Does anyone on here know what cushion profile the Dynamic II uses? I believe its K55 but I'm not 100% sure...

Cheers

My Dynamic III has northern rubber and I'm pretty certain my Dynamic II had northern rubber also.

Cheers Damien, but I've been looking at getting some new rubbers, but have been told that they will only fit if the rail profile is K55, not necessarily K55 rubbers... Strange I know :)

It looks like it probably IS the K-55 profile, but I've never had to provide replacement rubber for the Dynamic II yet - so I'm double checking with our man at Dynamic.

It's true, all Dynamic II tables come fitted as standard with the Northern Rubber brand.

Cushion rubber appears to be a bit of a black art, and you won't find much specific information about it on Google, but from the research I have done on behalf of our customers, the general consensus of opinion seems to be quite adamant that the very best cushion rubber brand is actually Artemis - but of course, it comes with a commensurate price tag.

Northern Rubber is a British company though - and it is presumably the rubber that you will be playing on if you play on the Euro Tour, so you pays your money, you takes your choice.

I'll let you know when Dynamic reply.

Edit: Dynamic have now replied and confirmed that the profile for the 9ft Dynamic II table is K-55.

Cheers Dave. What about K Steel? Is that K55 do you know?

Again, this information comes direct from SAM Leisure - I've just got off the phone with them now.

Artemis brand K-55 profile is used on the Magno Pro that is used on the GB 9 Ball Tour, and the same is used on the Sam K-Steel II.

However, previously all K-Steel I's used the K-66 profile.

FYI, SAM's other own brand tables use an own brand rubber which is white, Northern Rubber is black, and Artemis is pink (and most cheap/generic rubbers from China are pink too.
