Apologies to anyone who is waiting for The Pro Shop to reopen.

I really WAS planning to re-open The Pro Shop this week, but I've had a complete stinker of a cold... And I've just not been able to get the energy up to sort it out yet... Won't be long now, I'm definitely beginning to feel better.

Cool. Can I make a suggestion? Can you ensure it's open 24/7 this time? I was selling some equipment recently, and tried to show the buyer what it would cost him to buy new, and the site was down for Xmas, or whatever. Cost me a sale and money.

It doesn't look good to have a shop that closed for some of the time.

I think what robbed is saying is don't have the message like you have now saying closed. Still have the products and prices but don't allow us to go to the checkout process.

And robbed I wouldn't blame Dave on losing you money or a sale, there are other sites who sell the same products in Germany and U.S.A you could of showed those prices for comparison.

True, and I did, but the US sites are a lot cheaper. Trying to explain import taxes and trade restrictions is not easy, especially to someone who wasn't a native English speaker!

I'm not blaming anyone, but it's really amateurish to have a shop that's closed half the time IMO.

So you weren't actually buying something from the Pro Shop, you were just using it to help with sales of your own stuff and you're complaining the Pro Shop nearly cost you a sale.

What a cheek!

Unbelievable.

What makes you think I didn't buy the goods from the Pro Shop in the first place? Or wasn't going to reinvest the proceeds from my sale into the shop?

Perhaps you can tell me what's 'Pro Shop' about a site that's often closed for business? If it's going to change hands, now is the time to air these issues.

Just a little correction - the FACTS are that The Pro Shop has remained open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, for six whole years, non-stop, apart from a few days at Christmas each year, and recently when there was a new baby born in the family. I don't think anyone can claim anything unprofessional about that.

The Pro Shop is certainly NOT "often closed for business"... I don't know where you got that impression from - maybe you're new here. This is an exceptional circumstance, concerning a change of ownership, and normal service will be resumed shortly.
