I've had a request for the rules of "Ten Ball Crash" - can anyone tell me where I can find them please?

I've got a funny feeling this may be an English Pool or Snooker question... Please let me know if I'm being a "noobie"!

    :D

    Cheers,
    BDK.

Dave - I found a website for Mr Pools in Colchester that runs a 10-ball crash game. These are the rules they list:

In 10 Ball Crash players get 10 shots (including the break) to pot as many of the numbered balls as they can. Note, these are shots, not visits. At the end of their 10 shots they are awarded a score equivalent to total of the numbers on a standard set of spots and stripes balls.

So if you should pot the 10 highest value balls (numbered 6 to 15) you would end up with a score of 105. However, you can pot more than one ball in each shot (on the break for example) and get an even higher score. On the other hand, you can miss balls along the way. If you only manage to pot 5 or 6 balls the numbers on those balls will still give you a score.
If you should commit any standard foul on the way then you can continue, but balls potted on a foul will be discounted, so it is a missed shot. Any serious foul will result in disqualification.

That was all I could find - I hope it helps.

Anyway, one more to add to the list of different games to play - we just started playing kelly pool at St Albans, so I guess we may have to give this a go too. :-o

We used to play this on a Friday or Saturday night if we didn't have enough time for a tourney.

That is pretty much the rules we used. If I remember right, it's not call shot, balls potted on a foul were respotted, and a scratched white was replayed from behind the line.

    Enjoy!

I'm sure we just put them on the foot spot, it didn't happen too often that somebody scratched... (was a few years ago though)

'Blue Suede' would be your man for an exact version, but he seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth =/

    It is...

In addition, I would rack with the 1, 2 & 3 on the points, with the 13, 14 & 15 in the middle. Enjoy!
