One shaft with 8 ball written on it and 14/1 on the other, some have a logo wich looks like a cow-boy hat. The but has coated irish linen wrap. Very good cues. Adam made a new line of Stanley West cues some years ago with SS joint as you describe in your post. IMO the new line is lower quality than the older one... just my taste. Thank you for that, I wasn't aware that Adam had resurrected the cue in the 90s. All the older ones have 5/16-14 piloted stainless steel and these are clearly 5/16-18 as you say. They still look pretty good though.

If you could take one of the joint, that will confirm it. All said and done you have kudos with it being Sarah Ellerby's first cue even if it isn't an early Stanley West Adam. Great catch. I would buy it anyway.

If its the same model I am thinking of with the piloted steel 5/16-14 joint, it will be in the region of £150 - £200 in 98% condition. That price is what you would expect to pay over in the UK, it would be somewhat less on the U.S. market. This is without the Sarah Ellerby connection.
Good cue, good joint. Predator shafts available for it as standard also.
