Just been looking on the IPT website........ There is an interesting paragraph on the front page: The next live IPT broadcast is going to be on June 24th, 2008, at 8pm (eastern). In the last event, John Schmidt beat the World Champion Oliver Ortmann at 14.1 Straight Pool in front of one of the greatest players ever, Mike Sigel, who was the commentator of the match. Sigel and Schmidt have an interesting history! In the one and only time they played, the match did not go well for Sigel, who in a moment of anger broke his cue stick. Despite Sigel's loss years ago, he claimed during this last live broadcast, that he could easily beat Schmidt at straight pool! After the match, word of Sigel's claim got to Schmidt who retorted that Sigel could step up at any time and try his luck. He also mentioned that he has a great deal of respect for Sigel and would be nervous playing him because "playing straight pool in front of Sigel is like having sex in front of a porn star!" Awesome lol -----------------

The thing about the IPT broadcasts is that they are so very late in the evening dragging into the small (and no so small) hours of the morning. Do they archive the matches for later viewing?

Yes they do archive the matches Dave. It's great to see Karl getting a match up as the lad has been overlooked with his 3rd place finish at the WPC 9 ball. Good luck mate next month!
