lol poolknight! I take it your havin us on here? Its simple, we all bid on players who we think might win the event. At the closing date for bids, the person who has the highest bid for a player wins that player. Now "that" player competes as normal. Now if that player wins or comes second, then the person who won that player in the auction will take a cut of the pot for the calcutta. Hope this explains a little better. When i have played in the States and there has been Calcutta's, the actual player has a choice of buying half of the winning stake on himself too. And they usually pay 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. -----------------
