Good to see you splashing out Gibbo. I wouldn't mind talking about a couple of hundred. Maybe you'll give me a call or would you prefer to discuss on here?

Its fine by me as long as all players honour the min 5 supporters rule, this is a condition of play, its adds atmosphere to the games andmakes viewing a lot more fun, Your game is noted zak

Race to 21 at 9 ball takes 3 hours so imagine how long its going to take with 8 ball. Won't that be a turn off for spectators? Surely more pressure and excitement in a race to 15 and should be plenty long enough at 8 ball for the best player to establish himself.

A player who is wanting a longer distance must be worried that he might lose if he's thinking like that should'nt be playing for money grow some balls

Nothing wrong with trying to tinker a format to make it better for yourself. Personally I like the longest race I can get away with just because I love the experience of playing so much,

But if you dont like the intended format just sort out a non-MMTV game. It's not difficult :)

1st to 15 easy long enough for 8 ball anyway. It's probably equivalent to 25 at 9ball

How many games will there be at 1st event Andy?

I understand what Lakin is saying, i think he is used to playing one off games without any schedule to keep to, maybe compromise and if you get an evening game with no one else playing afetr you make them to 18? It's only 3 more frames so might be worth it for future events to, if/when you get top players against each other i think they would prefer a slightly longer game? (Just a thought)
