New time to beat 30.50, Craig Chiddy just done it at Yate!! My protogey for last 4 years came good. Potted 4 off break and had stop shot almost every shot! 4 witness' and official rileys staff timing. He plays for county and Is 17...still rubish at 9-ball tho lol.

Lol m8 I watched it with my own eyes..ur always going to people doubting any quick time. He was trying all night to beat it and had a perfect break and split, didn't miss a ball and nailed it. Say what u want but I know it's accurate as I was one of the people watching him do it.

To be honest, I had doubts about 36 seconds and thought that might just be a mythical tale... It takes me longer than that to chalk my cue properly.

It certainly helps to have witnesses, and I'm glad it's a Pro9'er who's vouching for it - adds a bit of credibility in my mind.

Amazing feat... And it's possible that it could still be beaten... How long does this thing run for?

Dont post too often on pool sites any more but just thought i would have a little say on this one.
30 seconds is a marvellous time.
I hear that the lad who had the previous best time of 36 seconds had his time varified by cctv footage, which i think should be an absolute no brainer which needs to be done to varify any time.
A very good friend of mine(pro 9 member) phoned me the other day to tell me about the comp and told me about the fastest attempt at the time(36 secs)and i forecast to him that somebody would do a sub 30 seconds.
as the previous fastest time was checked out by cctv i am sure that this attempt will meet the same if not deeper scrutiny.
Good luck guys and lets await the new fastest time of sub 28 seconds we shouldnt be waiting too long. ;-) just hope it dosn"t get too silly.

PS as a speedpool lover it would honestly give me great pleasure to see the footage if it was available of the new fastest time. would be great to see.
