Great idea the Chinese putting on a major event and inviting 8 European players.... but then having all the stream, news and scores in Chinese lol..

First round Hendry lost Doherty lost corr lost ralf lost .. Me Gaz mick Chris won .. 2nd round losers Doherty lost and corr so both out . Hendry won and ralf won 13-12 winners side Chris won 13-8 and Gaz won 13-6 mick lost 13-11 to very good player . And I won 13-12 but lost lol .. So Gaz and Chris semi of winners tmrw me and mick 9-12th bracket losers play at 12.30 pm

I wish matchroom or sky could get on board with this and pool in general. I used to love watching the wpc when it was on sky all day for a week. Now all we get is the masters in trashy one hour increments once a week. Looks like a fab tourney and i'm sure it could grab a few snooker enthusiasts into watching.

The rather aptly named Gareth "Potts" is on now... I've never though of his name like that before, talk about a predisposition to the game.  Despite the fabulous name, he's currently trailing 10-7... But I've just seen him saying that this is the best tournament he's ever played in, the toughest game, and the best, and that they're all being treated like superstars, so you can bet he'll be trying very hard to take the trophy and be the first ever winner of this event. Incidentally, can anyone name the Matchroom event when Steve Knight lost a rack because he didn't nominate the pocket for the nine ball? It was hilarious, because Steve was clearly going to win anyway, he looked so comfortable out there, and even better... The next time he got to the nine ball, I swear it was the ENTIRE audience that shouted out for him to call the nine ball.., LOL Edit: Apparently this wasn't at a Matchroom event, but at the International Challenge of Champions - thank to Doug Gordon for jogging my memory here .[ This message was edited by: Administrator on 2013-01-04 13:28 ]
