Yeah, but that would be really dull!
I've voted for Appleton and Boyes now - I guess I'll have to vote for all the UK players before the end!

They're listening... And it's working... GO, GO, GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Announcement! IPT Viewers Choice Challenge Match It's time to make the voting more interesting! Phase Two of the player voting starts now. Basic Members can now vote twice per day. This new phase will allow you to either double-up on votes for your favorite player, or, you can vote for the two players you would like to see match up. Either way, get out there and support your favorite player(s). And remember, the live broadcast and player voting is absolutely free. A few players have jumped out to a small early lead. Vilmos Foldes from Hungary, Austrians Jasmin Ouschan and Gerda Hofstatter are all fighting for the top position. These players have benefitted from some viral marketing, including an article on a popular Hungarian web site promoting Foldes. Other players climbing up in the rankings include the U.K.'s Karl Boyes and Darren Appleton, whose personal appeals to the pool forums crowd have paid off so far for them. Hall of Fame member Earl Strickland is rapidly moving up on the chart as well. Fans can go to International Pool Tour and vote. Now that Basic Members have two votes each, per day, the dedicated fans are going to have more influence. Player biographies and statistics are available for those voters who are unsure of whom to vote for. Click Here to go directly to the voting page. The April 29th match will be broadcast live on the IPT web site for free! The match is the fourth live challenge match of the Ultimate 8-Ball challenge match series. For more match details, the voting page, and the live results, visit the International Pool Tour web site. International Pool Tour [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2008-03-25 06:59 ]

Why not vote for the only British player who actually won his IPT tour card by winning the final qualifying event in Weert. A player who finnished 7th in the IPT North American Open, missing out on the final 6 group by one rack! ....In that event alone he beat: Efren Reyes. Ronnie Alcano. Dennis Orcollo. Corey Duell. Jonny Archer. Oliver Ortmann. Sandor Tot. Alex Lely. .....Just to name a few. This player is one of the few Brits to win a Eurotour, and is the current WORLD 9BALL CHAMPION. The IPT is 8ball, but he strongly beleives he has a better 8ball game than 9ball even though he is the world champ! Vote For...... DARYL "The Dazzler" PEACH. -----------------

why dont we all just stop been silly hey
theres only one player if any we could get in top 2..only 2 with a chance outside chance at that is karl or me!
i think because karl wants it badly and for how much effort he put in to get on the ipt regarding qualfiers and the bad luck his had regards to matchroom events since getting 3rd in world 9ball,
i think everyone in the uk should vote for karl boyes!!
he will be getting my votes anyway even though he does loads of u turns!

You've got to hand it to the IPT... They know how to push!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Announcements! IPT Viewers Choice Challenge Match The IPT Ultimate 8-Ball announces that an "under-card" match will take place during the April 29th live broadcast. The players and match details will be announced on Thursday, March 27th. Although being called the under-card, the players are both world class athletes whose match-up is essentially another feature match! Look for the announcement Thursday. On Monday, the player voting moves into Phase III. This phase will reduce the size of the ballot by removing the players names who have not received a certain baseline number of votes. Basic Members will also receive up to five votes per day. This phase will certainly make the race very interesting. And remember, the live broadcast and player voting is absolutely free. Fans can go to International Pool Tour and vote right now. Its all good publicity Dynamite init. I think we should lobby for a UK showdown myself. If not, then a Boyes vs Earl match, that would be a good laugh. [ This message was edited by: SpongeBob on 2008-04-01 01:06 ]
