No worries JS, like you say, a bit more table time with it, and you should be good start getting more comfortable with it.
I would recommend though, taking the time to put in at least 90 minutes of practicing nothing, but break shots with it, this way you'll be getting about a month's worth of break shots with it, in the space of about 90 mins, but try breaking from different locations behind the string, to see where is working best for you, and also try various speeds and breaks as well, as this will help you get to learn exactly how the cue plays on many various break shots, and do this for at least 90 mins
Then spend the next 30 minutes practicing various jump shots, as again, this will help you become more comfortable with the cue and learn how the cue plays overall.
Again, I hope that this will be of some help.

I will probably get a bit of stick for this but for the money (£70). The Fury J/B is very good value and has a phenolic tip. Greg

The Fury J/B and many other J/B's like it, are mostly made of a glass based pheonolic resin, including the G10 tips, that are used on many Eastern Asian break cues, (Like the Fury J/B) which is why when you break with a Fury and other similar cues, that you hear that "Ping", but the glass based pheonolic resin, isn't quite as hard as the new Canvas Resin Pheonolic.
I will say though, Fury J/B's are definitely a good quality break cue, and if you're getting one at £70, go for it, especially if you're looking for a good quality J/B whist limited to a particular price range, I've had the good opertunity to try one of them on a few occasions, and they are great to break with, nice one Greg.

Hi guys.Ralf Souquet plays with a X breaker.I have used it before and it is really solid.I think JandJ jump break is a good choice.I control the cue ball off the break well and the wing ball goes in quite often. It is not expensive.I got my new for 75 US $.By the way,I jump well with JandJ too.Heard of it?

im thinking of getting a BK 2 when i have the funds availible. Not too sure what mine is now but i put a phenolic wood ferrulle/tip on it which makes it that little bit better. Does a leather tip make much difference as the cues i am looking at have one with a leather tip and one without.
